My eyes widened, sure that he was not in the office when I arrived, but I pressed my lips, deciding not to ask how he came in when I remembered his flat because instead of his usual business suit, he was wearing pajamas.

I can’t even read any books because my mind is occupied to what my father said to me. If I don’t marry that man that they were talking about, then it will be the end of my career. "The last one," I say as I smile at him, not knowing what else to say. He smiles back at me as he finishes his last glass of Scotch and stands up.
