The Luna Who Wants Everything

But it’s not about me right now. “Head back then. Finn and I can cover here. Riley’s healed up well too, nobody would mind you taking a break from the front-” Stretching out his shoulders in his dark green shirt he raised his eyebrows with a grin. “It’s coming to a head. We’re going for it.” “What, you mean, take on Rising Star?” “There are some big thunderstorms predicted by the end of this week. That will flood the tunnel you went through. You are a seriously good author Alle! I am devouring your books as if my life depended on it! I love that your books aren’t your typical Girl x Alpha book. The fact that you can make the “secondary” characters like Betas be at the forefront in such an interesting way! This is an awesome book!

As always with Alle's books, this book was amazing. It was so hard to put down. Both parts had wonderful characters and storylines. I can't wait for the final one in the series to come out, but am also sad it will be the end.

The tide, the hidden Deep Script, the gift of Poseidon, the force of Kali’s power—all of it was stacking together into something that made the battlefield unfair in a way Ares had not anticipated. And Celeste knew it.

Final passage. Final warning. > “Seven tides were loosed. Six were chained again. One remains. The Final Mouth. Where the Sovereign waits not to speak— But to listen.” Maya stared into the horizon.

Rise of The Fallen

Rise of The Fallen

VERITY I watched Usel fall, kicked off Baraqiels sword, as a cry ripped from my throat as her blood sprayed in the air, her limp body barreling toward the ground. Shamshiel raced towards her, a feral noise coming from him as he ran to his daughter. At the same time I heard another voice above the din of battle, Todd had fallen to his knees, his eyes trained on a Nephilim. A Nephilim who had Devon in his hand, as I watched Devon’s head caved in on itself and exploded, his blood splattering the creature in front of him in a crimson red sheen. His scream pierced my ear drums and I felt my heart twist as the Nephilim tossed his body to the ground, where it lay crumpled. Cain moved in front of m

But the longer I stared, the more I felt it that quiet thrum beneath my ribs, the pull that had begun the night Clara fell. The mark above my chest tingled, a faint burn crawling up my throat. It wasn’t pain exactly more like a memory trying to surface. Mira entered quietly, clutching her cloak around her shoulders. “You’re awake,” she said, voice low. “The council is already gathering. They say the tides are rising two days early.” “Early?” I asked, though I already knew what she meant. “The ocean refuses to rest,” she whispered. “The sailors say it hums. Like a song under the waves.”
