Find A Book In A Library Novels & Stories

An old man was sitting in front of the counter, perhaps he is the librarian. Soheila went straight to the librarian to ask where are the books about the world. The library looked at the lady who asked him. “C-1.” Soheila thanked the librarian as she got her answer. “C-1, C-1, right now, I'm at the A-1.” Soheila walks towards the first bookshelf that she saw. It was the A-I area. “Ahh, there!” Soheila pointed a sign quite far from her. She walked towards it, and it took her several minutes just to arrived at the sign that she pointed at which is the C-1.

Elsie says. "I'm going home?" I choke out, clutching my sore throat. "Yes. But you aren't going alone," Oberan says. "I'm coming, as well as Lauralie and Levi," Declan says, giving my hand a squeeze. Just then, Jesse bursted into the room with a book in his hand, waving it around. "I found it!" he yells. There is a collective sigh of relief that fills the room, and I didn't understand what was going on.

I pee a lot, and smelling and seeing things that are sensitive to my body makes me puke. "Liam, just leave the poor girl alone." Sydney stepped in and pressed those breasts of hers on Liam's arm. "Come on. The book is a room. So we are going to have loads of fun." Loads of fun, indeed. "Just give me a minute," Liam brushed Sydney off, making her pout. "Lily, are you okay?" I scoffed.

Chapter 11: Meeting David Faith’s P.O.V Like Debby had mentioned, the library wasn’t all that hard to find. And it was humongous! At this time of the day, there weren’t many students inside, or perhaps I wasn’t seeing everyone since the place was huge. Waving a ‘hello’ to the librarian as I showed her my student ID to get inside, I went straight for the isle that had the books I needed to look into in order to finish my homework.

But what? She felt she had to do something. But it was 4 AM. Where could she go? What could she do? She had to throw her mind into something, like an old book, an intense puzzle. Something to engage her. And then, it struck her: the attic. Those books she’d been thinking about before bed. Her grandmother’s box. Those rare books. The greatest puzzle of all. Yes, that was exactly what she needed. It was the perfect place to go and get lost, and not bother anyone.

I need to find out everything about my mother before my father finds me and brings war to my mates pack. I get out of the shower and dry myself before pulling on some leggings and t-shirt. I looked at the bags and decided I will unpack them after dinner and I made my way down to the library to try and get some answers. I push the door open and make my way inside flicking on the lights and walked to the shelve where I found the book last time. I scanned the book again but nothing regarding dying to give your power over was in it. I looked through the other books and came accross a book I didn't notice last time the title read: The undoing of a witch.

I always think ahead, that's why I've spent all this time making sure that Ember falls for me, which she has. When I get home, I head straight for my father's library and start searching through the shelves for the book like a fucking mad man. Nothing, absolutely nothing. "Where the fuck is it!" I throw my fist in the wall, pain explodes in my hand as I breathe harshly. I need to find it, no matter what. I leave the library to treat my busted knuckles and make a mental note to search tomorrow when my father goes to work. * * * The next day after my father leaves for work, I go inside the library and resume my search. After an hour of nothing, I finally find the book.

I opened old books, sneezed because of the dust they had collected, and searched all the aisles making sure not to skip one but I still did not find it. I walked to the nearest seat and sat there. I shut my eyes and took a minute to collect myself. My hands were hurting from lifting the heavy books in some of the aisles. I searched every hiding spot I could think of but I still did not find the book. “Where is it? Where is the book?” I took deep breaths and checked the time. I winced, I had missed my next class,” I walked to a librarian and asked, “Excuse me. Did anyone check out a book recently?”

No one noticed my entry. I went to the non-fiction section of the library. I was looking for NF 107. One by one, I looked at the spines. Where is that? I'm praying the book is still here. I spent a few minutes going back and forth through the books until I saw what I was looking for. I smiled. I picked up the thick book. I dusted it off. During the period of placement here, the book was not listed in the library. And no one knew that this book existed. It’s been almost a year since I put it here. A dark green hardbound cover. No title. I opened it and took out an SD card. I looked around first before I put it in my jacket pocket.

Those were good times. Pushing open the library door, I was enveloped by the familiar scents of paper and ink. The sleek, modern shelves, packed with books of every genre, rose majestically to the ceiling, creating a sea of literary treasures. Every book had been handpicked by me, each one a reflection of my eclectic tastes. I navigated the narrow aisles, my fingers trailing over the spines of the books until they paused in front of a shelf filled with classic novels. With a practiced motion, I pulled a row of books off a shelf, revealing a small, discreet panel. I pressed my thumb against the cool surface, and the panel slid open with a soft click releasing a whisper of secrets.
