Catching Jane
Rachel’s eyes take in the scene, especially a buckass Noah, and once she puts two and two together, she begins to laugh her head off.
Noah’s cheeks turn bright pink.
“Oh, don’t stop on my behalf,” Rachel says between splutters. “It was the gardenias, wasn’t it?”
“Get out,” I call, throwing another pillow at Rachel, which she deftly dodges.
“No harm,” she replies. “Good work, Noah. Jane has a wicked afterglow.”
“Get out, Rach!” I repeat and Rachel finally slinks out, snickering. “See you tomorrow, Jane!”
