“She cried when I took her. She called for you.” I staggered back, my knees nearly buckling. That confirmed it. She had her. She really had her. “Where is she now?” I asked, my tone steadier, controlled. “She’s somewhere safe, right?” Fiona blinked rapidly and looked behind me. Karen was behind me. But Fiona was staring behind Karen. A faded painting on the far wall, a landscape of rolling hills and a lonely cottage. “She’s there with her,” she whispered. “My only friend who understood me. She said she'd hide her somewhere no one could find us.”

Then: "The child has reached the northern marker." Fiona's expression changed instantly. "What?" "The boy." "He found it." Her composure cracked for the first time. "How?" "We don't know." The line disconnected. Richie saw the concern on her face. "What happened?" Fiona turned toward him. "The children." "They've become part of the operation." At that same moment... Glen brushed away a layer of wet leaves. Beneath them... He discovered a rusted iron ring embedded in a square slab of concrete.

asked the mysterious voice echoing from the vastness of nowhere. "Yes, I surely want; where is he? Where is my dear Yoon?" answered Peach, full of hope that he could be together with his love again. He will do everything if it is for his dear Yoon. "Close your eyes," commands the mysterious voice. "Okay, I will," Peach replied and instantly shut his eyes. "Yoon? babe? Yoon! Oh, God! “I am sure you wouldn't want to doubt my driving skills Fiona arrived exactly twenty-seven minutes later. She didn’t bother to knock. She walked straight in like the house belonged to her, her coat was already off, with her tablet in hand, eyes sweeping the room once before locking on my face. “Talk to me,” she said. So I did. I told her about the address on the photo. About the old woman. The rumors. The carved number. The whisper. The child’s voice. I didn’t take out anything. Fiona didn’t interrupt. She only stopped moving when I finished. “A shelter,” she said slowly, fingers already flying across her screen. “That number isn’t private. I think it's linked to a lot of things. Routing thr

She quickly tossed her phone inside one of the cars, which had a broken glass, and awaited what would come next. “Well, well, look who we have here, little miss investigator,” Fiona let out a sinister laugh as she set her eyes on Maya. “I told you there was someone here. My instincts never fail. Hold her!” she ordered. “You’re a witch, Fiona, the devil’s advocate, to be precise,” Maya screamed as she tried to wiggle her way out of Dione’s hold. “And you, Dione, at first, I thought you were having an affair with her. At least you don’t have bad taste.”

My eyes made contact with Maya and she looked away almost immediately, I almost laugh I think Damien already taken her position back and the little hope she have had finally crashed. "Can we help you pick up something to wear later? Please please please" Thelma pleaded. "Sure" I agreed. I demanded. "Fiona?" Damien barked. Fiona burst into tears and hurry up towards the stairs to fling herself in his arms.

I opened the door to find Morgana and Thomas standing in front of Fiona, who had this annoying smug smile on her face the second she saw me. “My wayward daughter.” She greeted me. She eyes me up and down, “Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes.” I gave my coldest smile, “The mother of the year.” “Let’s move past the unnecessary formalities.” Thomas started, “You said you’d only talk to Cordelia, and here she is. Now, tell us what you know.” Fiona’s eyes didn’t leave me, her contempt shone brightly, “Debra Gray found me a few months ago, literally begging for my help.”

Fiona grabbed her bag, eyes glassy but determined, and stormed out of the Orchid Room. Once she reached the elevator, her hands shook as she pulled out her phone. Ring. Ring. “Hello?” A small, sleepy voice answered—soft as cotton but with that familiar spark. “Liza Liana,” Fiona breathed. “Baby, how are you feeling?” “Hmm… sleepy. The nurse gave me the super yucky soup again. I pretended to eat it but I fed it to Mr. Floppy.” Her voice brightened a bit. “He’s a brave bunny now. He eats everything.”

"Everyone in the pack is looking for you... " Fiona said as she climbed down, Elana growing closer to her.
