I shouted as I ran to them. Xander can't move quickly with his injured leg. The dragon rolled and breathed fire at the three of them.

He stated with a frown on his face, I didn't respond to him. "If you don't want to talk then listen, I'm about to tell you some spicy story because you are Rhyker's lover." He leaned against the car with an arm resting on the headrest. What does he want to tell me? "My name is Felix Gaielia." He introduced himself. I widened my eyes and looked at his outfit that was fancy, he didn't look like the men that were escorting me, brutally. The things they did to the man still makes me want to throw up in fear and disgust. “Stop!” Xander ordered, raising a hand, smiling evily at me. “Do you see this woman?” He said to the bleeding man. “Will you ever touch or even come close to her again?” “No! No! I won't,” the man answered quickly, blood dripping out of his mouth. “Smart decision!” Xander said, clapping his hands twice. "I figured that you'll make a wise choice, my bro." He gestured and they carried the man out.

The freight elevator hit the top floor and hissed open, releasing a cloud of superheated steam. Xander stepped out first, his torn tactical coat snapping behind him like a tattered cape. He looked absolutely feral—his chest and arms were marked with fresh, glowing scars from the Daemon fight, and his midnight-blue eyes were burning with a predatory, imperial hunger. "Status report!" Xander roared, his voice echoing through the corridor with the weight of absolute Admin Privileges.

The rest had guns or looked like they were about to tip over into their animal forms. Scarlet had her flaming sword ready and ignited. Nix did as well. Her clothes were the snug leathers of battle, and look well-used from this distance. Her long brown hair was pulled back into braids and a high ponytail that looked like it was dancing in some unfelt breeze. "Damn it, Hellion!" Xander said as he lowered his weapon, thumbed the safety on before putting it in his holster. I didn't know he even had a holster. Or that he'd taken to wearing it.
