Am I carrying you, are you hobbling out of here, or do you want to ride in a wheelchair?” “I’ll fucking walk out of here.” Xander sits up more and swings his one leg over the bed, the other cut off just above where his knee should be. “Get me a pair of crutches, my love,” His tone immediately softens when he addresses Ria. Who just shakes her head and goes in search of a pair of crutches.

the vampire admitted. “She is my assistant,” Jasper snapped. “She most certainly is of use. Not only is she a pretty little assistant, but she’s intelligent and quick minded. I attribute a good deal of the success I’ve had so far to her help and input. I need her to be whole, happy, and within her right mind. Something tells me that won’t be the case once you animals are finished with her.”

He’s a few months older than me and works at his dad’s business. “You came alone?” he asks, sitting on the empty stool beside me. He leans his left elbow on the bar counter while his blue eyes scan the crowded full of women. He’s a legs spreader, that’s how his twin Saphoera named him.

I look between them, shaking my head, then I walk over to the table and take a seat. “Yeah, I did. I’m Xander, Zion’s better-looking brother by the way.” If you say so. He looks over at Zion. “And she’s blond. Why did I imagine her as a redhead, maybe the attitude?” Xander continues. “Zion wasn’t wrong, you really don’t shut up.”

"You look like a man guarding a secret, Silas. Or a grave." The voice was a low-frequency vibration that rattled the crystal decanters on the sideboard. Silas turned slowly. Xander stood in the center of the room. At fifty-two, the Titan of the Faded Moon didn't look a day over thirty, his immortality preserved by the very blood he now demanded be passed on. He wore a charcoal suit that looked like armor, his white-blond hair swept back from a face carved with the calm of a myth. His golden eyes, shimmering like liquid fire, swept over the room before landing on the girl huddled on the piano bench.

Xander said. " Thanks, you don't look bad too. And sorry I don't have a male dress so I just have to fix this crop top and jacket together." Clyde said. "You look beautiful still, sorry I will have to cover your eyes common." xander said before he cover his eyes. They got to their table and he removed his hand. " Wow, this is beautiful." Clyde said. " Sit." Xander said drawing the chair out for him to sit. " So without wasting more time, I will like to tell you what you want to hear and what's in my heart." xander said and he smiled.

Jose replied, saving his boss. Autumn and Adrian looked at Xander. "Is he a celebrity?" Autumn asked, her eyes widening. Jose smiled at her innocence. "No. He's a businessman." "Like Mommy?" she exclaimed, turning to face Xander. "Do you also design jewelry?" she asked, curious. Xander felt at a loss for words. How could he make a four-year-old understand his work? Adrian also appeared curious. "No. I design... machines." he answered after some thought.

Only a valuable person deserves people around him. Andrea cackled, not feeling any ounce of guilt. “I bet you get the message.” “You really should have your head checked. You are losing it.” Asher grumbled, caressing the computer like it belonged to a part of his body. She tilted her head to the side when her eyes caught the image on the screen. She stood up to check it correctly, and a loud gasp escaped her lips. “Xander is the owner of X&J?!” Asher raised his brow. “You know him?”

Xander ran towards the woods at the back of their house. He noticed Xavier’s silhouette there. He held the letter tightly in his hand, almost wrinkling it. “Vie!” Xander called, breathless. “We received an answer,” he added quickly. His usual deep voice was slightly high pitched from the excitement. Xavier emerged from between the trees wearing nothing but his work pants. His bare feet sank into the green moss. His hair was still wet from his swim in the lake.

I said to him the next day when I had gotten tired of the awkwardness and tension between us. "Oh." He said, looking up from Arya whose hair he was trying to put in ponytail. "Um, it was... it was the most beautiful thing I've ever read. So profound, I even cried while reading it." I chuckled, hiding the fact that I wanted to cry again as I recalled the details of that beautiful piece of writing. "Xander, the truth is I don't know what I want at the moment. There are so many inhibitions to this working out and just like you said, I'm scared."
