The god froze, Because the child’s voice cut through realms It didn’t belong in this place, Not yet, Not ever. Liora gasped.
Her flame surged, reacting to the bond, Not the broken soul-hinge from Auren, Something older, A maternal tether, A spark from her daughter’s birth Still alive, Still waiting, Still calling her home.
