I’m hoping that it won’t come to that, but anger is the easiest way to get someone to connect to fire. “Okay, what do I do?” he asks. “Do you trust me?” I ask him. “Absolutely,” he says, not hesitating a moment. I smile. "Close your eyes." He immediately closes his eyes. I’m hoping passion is the way to get him to connect. It's another great way to connect to fire, so I start there. I pull an image of him and me in my mind. As I walk toward him, I begin to slowly unbutton my shirt, letting it drop to the ground.

"With the flames derived from the very sun, we shall purge this evil spirit! Ma'am, take off your son's shirt. I will apply these sacred ashes onto his navel and exterminate the evil spirit through fire!" Although Sam was delirious with fever, he heard every word. His eyes locked onto the smoking basin of blazing-hot ash, and all the color drained from his face. "No… Please, no! Mom, I'm going to get burned to death! Delia, help me!" Sam screeched and struggled, wrapping himself protectively with his blankets. Mindy panicked and lunged forward, pinning down his legs. "Don't move, Sam! They're trying to save you! Getting burned a little is better than being killed by evil spirits, right?"

Sam shares with me. He pulls me into his arms, “So what do you and Alexis think about that?” he asks nuzzling my neck. “Alexis and I would love that,” I reply giggling at his tickling my sensitive marking spot. Smacking my ass, Sam replies, “Great, let’s get going. I have advised the border patrols to be on alert as we will be running through the territory. We will not go too close to the borders, but I want them to pay attention none the less.”.

I wondered what was going on in her head as she stares at the fire. As far as I’m aware, it was the first kill she had been part of. But still, he was her brother. She had said it herself, he raised her.

Sam has less life in him now than he had when he lifted Cilia up the other time. "I'm asking you, bastards! Where is the fireball you stole?" He chuckled, observing their mood. "If I ask that question again, I promise that one of your heads would go for an answer!" He spat, and the shock on the faces of Sam and Ben turned into grimaces of shock. He smirked, his eyes glinting as he returned to more inane thoughts. "Gosh! Where is the damn ball of flames? And where is that headless, one eyed guy with the knife?" He flung his arm, sneering, towards his soldiers. Who knows what was running through his mind right now, I'd be tempted to knock it out of him, or chop his head off, if I could.

It was 11 and it was late. Sam sat there on his couch with the killer transport in his hand. He had packed his bag with everything he needed, including waffles. Sam stared at the glittering small stone on top of the killer transport. Sam just wished he had someone to guide him how to use this thing. Sam decided that it was about time he learnt it. He got up from his couch with the killer transport in his hands and went into his bedroom and aimed the tip at his pillow. There was no button whatsoever in on it. He just aimed it and said,"fire"

At night I will come running to you, be sure. Sammy breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed. There was an unimaginable mess around, but she didn't care. She absently watched the bustling firemen, the police, and met Leah's gaze. A friend sat a little further away, also wrapped in a blanket, and smiled at her. In the old way, as before. Tears welled up in Sammy's eyes and she smiled back at her.

Fireman Sam will not be coming to the rescue, and the rest of us may have our own problems to contend with.”
