“Oh my god! You got me the Harry Potter Series!” I rushed to the bookshelf and grabbed a copy of ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. It was the only book I had read in the series and I had fallen in love with it. I had promised myself that I would buy more but I never got the money. “Yeah, girl,” she said smugly, “and I got you some others you might like…” I saw the other books and my jaw dropped. It was almost all the books on my reading wish list.

Just grass and sky and an endless, pressing silence. Then she saw him. He emerged from the golden light like a sunrise given form, massive and terrible and beautiful beyond words. His fur was not white or black or brown but pure molten gold, each strand shimmering as if lit from within. His eyes were twin suns, blazing with ancient fire, and when he opened his mouth to breathe, the air itself seemed to tremble. He was not a wolf, not really. He was something older than wolves, older than shifters, older than memory. He was the First Wolf.

“What? “Uhm, Madam Puddifoot? From Harry Potter? In Hogsmeade Village?” “You like Harry Potter?” Jackson replies with a chuckle. “I saw the movies when I was a child, but I have not thought of them much since, I suppose.” Monica’s smile is bright as she admits, “I love them. I watch all eight movies at least once a year and lost count of how many times I have also read the books years ago. But the first time I read them was with my mom, and we both fell in love with the stories.” “Who’s your favorite? Harry?”

Evans said and brought out a book from his coat pocket before holding it out to Hazel. Hazel looked at the book in his hand and said, “This is the book of prophecy.” She stretched out her hand to receive the book. As soon as the book was in her hand, she saw a red glow from under the book and when she turned her hand, she saw that it came from the ring on her finger. Her eyes widen almost immediately and she looked at Mr. Evans. “No way! Don’t tell me—” “Yes. I came as soon as I saw it. The pages now have words in it. Why don’t you open the first page and see what is written there?” Mr. Evans said and Hazel placed the book on the table and wasted no time in turning the first page.

"Well, it's Throne of glass..." He replied, still looking her up suspiciously.

Childishly, she stomps on it with her heeled boot to appease her rage before letting out a small scream of frustration. I watch her make a dramatic exit before stepping out from between the shelves a couple of seconds later, eyes cautiously searching just in case. Shaking my head in amusement I trace my way back to the storefront and settle on one of the sofa’s to read. I feel the need to arm myself with a lot of knowledge now that I know what I could become, the first book I’d picked is called History of Elementals. On the first page is the beautiful design of the black interlaced knots in the middle of the page. Seeing the knot, I’m reminded of my black triquetra tattoo and shift uncomfort

Taking the book, I went to bed and hopped up. Leaning back, I started reading. The book captivated me wholly and I didnt know how many hours passed until a soft knock came on the door.

I learned to love stories while still at the orphanage, as they always soothed my fears. I start looking for something interesting to read and I find the book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I always wanted to read this book. I go to the small sofa that is located in the center of the library and sit down. I won't even say how the decoration is here, because everyone already knows that everything is in golden tones. It's just enough now that their underpants are golden. I laugh when imagining the daring of the five boys. Would they be that bold?

Soon enough, she picked up a pen and scribbled his name under. Lord Xandros. Yep. It was equal now. She giggled and dropped the pen, walking towards the shelf. Her eyes fell on the book. Diary of the witches. She picked it up out of curiosity and opened the first page . "The witch's heart is a secret, one locked behind shadows. The first spell is born of blood– Ah!" Her finger swiped through the sharp edge of the book and it cut her, a little blood forming on the top. Anna clicked her tongue as she cleaned the blood off and continued reading.
