First Novel Competitions 2021 Novels & Stories

"Today, we are going to be announcing the winners of our annual writing contest which has served as a stepping stone to many writers who graduated from our school. And now to announce the three sets of people who blew our minds with their amazing works. The second runner-up is in the person of Annabelle Green with the book Enemy Luna under the paranormal genre." The girl on my left waved with a big smile on her face as the camera turned toward her and zoomed on her face. Ibukun glanced at her, wondering if she had just cried about Bolaji and her sudden drop in friends and admirers. “Yes, good,” he said, and turning to Ibukun, who shook her head no, he explained, “The Competition is in its maiden year. I am thinking of perhaps joining the Genre Carnival contest although I need to have at least 300K reads or even one million reads to win (I am still a long way from that). But here is hoping! So I wish to share with you some of the stories that I wish to work on and polish up for this contest. Please let me know which one you would like to read the most in the comment section. I will ONLY publish 1 story at a time (unless there are 48 hours in a day). The story that gets the most votes from you will be published and updated for FREE during the month of May 2022 (how to read free books in the Good Novel app will be explained down, down below). Here are the titles and the blurbs. Please leave

Everything felt so surreal, even when she went up the stage and took the trophy from Belya's CEO's hands. "Alright. It's time to announce our champion!" The host's voice was bright and clear. "Let us have Laureil's CEO, Ms. Layn, on stage to give away the prize." The crowd applauded once again, this time even louder. Caroline watched as Ms. Layn walked up the stage and got into position with a smile playing on her lips. She unfolded the small card in her hands and said, "The first winner of the first Novitius Contest for packaging design is … Layla Evans!"

Rebecca admitted that she was not young anymore, but as long as she was still young at heart, did it matter if she started anew? She was willing to use a new identity to forge her own pathway. Daniel knew what Rebecca was thinking when she asked that question. He lightly tapped the armrest of the chair and said, "Indeed, there are various competitions, some held internally by companies, and others are collaborations among several companies in Fairport. Globally, these events usually announce the results of the previous competition in early spring and start a new round of compe

After all, he was my numero uno fan. “Not really… well, kind of. My manager told me about this competition all over the States when I went to submit my draft to her, it’s about writing an original novel on any genre the writer prefers. Whoever wins—I think there will be one from each genre—will get their book published nationwide and sign a five-year contract with one of the famous publication houses.” I explained. “Ah! That’s great! You decided on what to write yet?” he asked curiously, laying his head on my lap as he did so. “I could give you—”
