I just started working today and heard from my colleagues about the fashion design competition that will be held next month. This contest is organized by Gloria. Once a year, fashion designers from all over the country will participate in the contest, the purpose of which is to promote Gloria's prestige and also help Gloria recruit more design talents. But Grainne was completely uninterested in this contest because the venue was in Gloria, and all the judges were leaders of the JK Group, Carwyn Levi was of course one of them. While working, the chat window suddenly flashed, Grainne smiled and clicked on the icon, a message sent by Mirror.

My Wife is a Hacker

My Wife is a Hacker

Nicole began to size Ryder up. Suddenly, she felt the seat beside her moving. Her eyes darted sideways and she immediately saw Preston and Edwin. "Nicole! You're here too?" Preston asked, feeling quite excited when he saw Nicole. The school's computer competition was usually conducted through the simple process of drafting a few unlucky souls in class to make up the numbers. It was only until the city-level competition, in which the wheat had been separated from the chaff, that the pros would duke it out.

The one who never got away /Through his eyes/

"Come on, now. Relax. Let me give you a massage. Then we'll find something to do." "Like what?" She purrs as a naughty smile spills on her face. "I think you know what," I whisper in her ear. "I have good news, though," Abigail chuckles then. "You've heard of the 'Worbes' annual awards? Today the results shall be out. I'm nominated for the 'Youngest multimillionaire' award." "Who's your competition?" I whisper in between the kisses I shower Abigail's shoulders with. "Cath Lincoln from C&C," she sighs then and tilts her head, giving me access to her neck. "The results should be out anytime now."

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

Luna did not invite Fiona, and she definitely did not invite Joshua to come along with them. She pursed her lips and was about to open her mouth in retort when Joshua placed a document in front of her. “Take a look.” Luna lowered her head, her attention was immediately attracted by the title of the document. “International Jewelry Design Competition?” “Yes.” Joshua leaned backward, looking at her with calm, indifferent eyes as he said, “This year’s competition will be held in Banyan City, right at our doorstep, I hope you will participate.”

The Strongest God of War

The Strongest God of War

Kharel asked. Elliot looked at his two good friends with a helpless gaze, "This competition is attended by all the kingdoms in the Exclessy Plains. That means ... we will meet at least a few soldiers from enemy kingdoms or perhaps former enemies. So, can you imagine ... what might happen in the competition arena?" Kharel was stunned for a moment. Meanwhile, Niall swallowed hard, "You mean they'll do anything to win, even kill?"

Hello dear readers. Last night I just finished rewriting the whole season 1, hopefully making it easier to understand. For those who haven't read it yet, try to give it a chance, at least the first 10 chapters of the book. I'm sure you won't regret it. Thank you. ^•^

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

Just like the commentators said on the stage during this competition, "Youth never lacks the courage to start anew." Rebecca admitted that she was not young anymore, but as long as she was still young at heart, did it matter if she started anew? She was willing to use a new identity to forge her own pathway. Daniel knew what Rebecca was thinking when she asked that question. He lightly tapped the armrest of the chair and said, "Indeed, there are various competitions, some held internally by companies, and others are collaborations among several companies in Fairport. Globally, these events usually announce the results of the previous competition in early spring and start a new round of compe

Ellen Addawe
I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.
Blessing Sam-somanya
I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

One Night With Mr Billionaire

One Night With Mr Billionaire

Chase declared. "A contest?" Jace asked. He wasn't aware of any contest. "There's going to be a contest, an international one. It's based majorly on Designs, artists sculpture and painting. It's in celebration of the incumbent Prime minister's mother. The woman loves it. And as it is, foreign investors would be around and whoever takes home the Gold medals would be an attraction for foreign investors…" Chase explained. "Why didn't I know about this?" Jace asked. His mind immediately drifted to the imperial group. Are they also aware of this when they decide to hire Arianna?

There are too many holes in the story, we never find out why Clara's "cousin" was trying to kill Jace nor what happened to him, we never learn why Susan was estranged from her family nor why she kept Arianna from them and we never find out what happened to Daisy, Emily, Elisa and Ned Jason
laley2626
Nice story but way to rushed and too many grammatical errors. I was very disappointed with the ending....I would have liked to read about Arianna and Jace's wedding...it would have been nice if it ended after the baby was born so they could have finally given Eli the baby he so desperately wanted.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not to be overly cynical, but the term 'best' depends entirely on what you're writing and what you're after. The 'big' ones like the Bridport Prize or the Bath Novel Award get all the press, and they're fantastic for the prestige if you win, but the entry fees add up. I've wasted money on contests that promised exposure but just felt like cash grabs for the organizers.

What I've found more useful are the ones attached to specific genres or independent presses. Things like the Cheshire Prize for Literature if you're in the UK, or contests run by journals like 'Glimmer Train' (though they're on hiatus, similar ones pop up). They have smaller pools, so your work might actually get a closer read. The real prize is often publication and a bit of cash, which is more tangible for a debut than vague 'industry recognition.'

My advice is to skip the ones that charge fifty bucks and offer a trophy. Look for contests where the prize includes a publishing contract or agent introduction. That's the golden ticket when you're starting out.
