The title page and table of contents looks normal, but I keep flipping pages to get to chapter one. Two more pages and I’m staring at the first chapter, titled “Finding a Companion.” I almost missed the title completely because my eyes were drawn to the center of the page where there was a rectangular shaped wooden box. All the pages had been cut through the center to fit this box inside, and there was something carved into the box. For just a second the pain stopped. I quickly opened up the book to a random page once the aching in my chest started back up. The first page I set eyes on didn't even have a fighting chance. I stabbed it and tore though it not even giving anyone a chance to react. Slowly the page started to catch on fire and ash instantly formed. Once the page completely turned to ash I lifted up the book and brushed off the pieces that use to be the page. A siren started inside the room and multiple screens filled the walls. I spun around going through all universes and landed on the universe I knew it was reporting on.

I rip out the throat of the first rogue wolf I come to, as his lifeless body falls to my feet three more wolves attack. One goes for my throat, while the others attack my sides, biting into my stomach and back. I growl, letting my alpha tone seep into the growl, ordering them to submit.
