First person's POV By the time I got home, it was already late at night. The gates slid open as my car pulled into the compound of our large house. I parked without lingering, stepping out and heading inside, my mind already shifting toward what I needed to do next, toward the plans that were slowly beginning to take shape, toward everything that mattered now.

My machine, my team, my entire life’s work—it was all designed by the very events I was currently watching, an endless, self-sustaining loop of divine orchestration. "You think you have traveled through time," he continued, his expression one of profound, terrifying compassion. "But you have only stepped into my eternal present. You believe this is the past, a distance to be bridged. But for Me, there is no distance. There is no 'then.' There is only Now. I am not remembering this moment, and I am not observing it. I am inhabiting it, just as I inhabit every breath you have ever taken and every star that has yet to burn."

Nicole looked at the clock in the room and said, “I’m kind of in a hurry so I’ll make my story brief and comprehensive. Present ARAH The fog swallowed her surroundings, wrapping her in the past once more. Slowly, it began to recede, peeling back the memory like layers of mist until the present bled through. Her breath caught as reality snapped back into place—tears welled in her eyes, her mind spinning with chaotic fragments. Blinking rapidly, her vision sharpened. A man was kneeling before her, his back to her, head yanked back. His hair was tightly tangled in her fingers. She gasped, her body tense, unable to process how she had gotten here or how this moment had taken over.
