Genuinely. This is my first book. My first story. My first time putting something out there that came from my head and my heart, and honestly? That's terrifying. It's like showing someone your diary, except you've decorated it with dragons and heartbreak and inside jokes that only make sense to you. There are going to be typos. There are going to be plot holes big enough to drive a truck through. There might be sentences that make zero sense on the first read, and characters who change personalities mid-chapter because I hadn't figured them out yet. And you know what? That's okay. Thank you so much for trusting me and trusting the process cause it got to a point where I wasn't even sure of what I was doing. This is my first novel ever but in my opinion, it turned out far better than I had imagined (I tried for my first attempt). I made lots of errors, deviated from the story line a little bit, and there were days where I felt like giving up, but I'm extremely glad I didn't and that I pushed through. "You wouldn't know unless you try!" This has been my go to quote, my inspiration whenever I felt like giving up. Although it took me two years to complete it, there's no need for me to be hard on myself.
