I see Grandfather, and he knows I see him. The people surround me, their faces red with anger. Grandfather raises his hands, eventually quieting them. "Toby... what have you done?" The colony world of Horus was a blissful utopia... until a curious little boy made one mistake and sent the world into a downward spiral of self-destruction. The world's gods were revealed to be nothing more than computers... and those computers are now failing. To pay for his mistake, Toby Spafford, now a man, must travel the deadly, ruined streets to find three missing keys that can activate a backup system created by his grandfather, Professor Jonathan Spafford. Dogging his every move are various factions that have grown to like the taste of power over the helpless citizens, and they'll do anything to stop him. In his favor, he is determined, intelligent, bitterly stubborn, and resourceful. Unfortunately... so are his enemies.

Molly is murdered one night by a brutal alien from outer space known as the chasen but instead of staying dead she comes back to life. Not as herself but in another person's body. She is being hunted and with the help of Det. Brighton and a blind seer named Vera, she must figure out what is happening before she runs out of lives and dies for good.

Celine is an assistant scientist to the genius but coldhearted Dr. Drake Cole. The doctor happened to specialize in quantum physics and time travel. He invented time travel gadgets that will allow humans to travel back and forth through time. It's a portable device compared to a bulky time machine. She's the only assistant who's willing to test these time travel gadgets. Her reason is that she would like to go back to the past where she wants to save the love of her life. He was murdered but the suspect was not convicted. She wants to bring him back to life so that she can be with her college sweetheart once again. Little did she know that Dr. Cole is keeping a secret that is related to her past. That's why he is against the idea of her going back to the past to test the gadget. She's very persistent and willing to do anything just to change the past of her lover. But it's against the rule of time travel and they will both have to face the consequences of their actions. Will Celine be successful in changing her lover's past? Or will she end up falling for the genius scientist in the present? She will be confused but don't care even if time can affect what will happen to her future. All she knows is that she has to go back to the past so that she can move on and live in her present.

Avril 2017, Curtis Ignac a obtenu ce qu'il désirait : malgré ses sentiments pour Lucas, Allyn a accepté son héritage angélique afin de survivre à la menace de mort qui pèse sur elle. Sitôt arrivée à Hemera, on ne lui accorde aucun répit. Les Anges Noirs se font nombreux, les Anges Gardiens s'affaiblissent... Piégée dans une dimension dont elle n'a que faire, Allyn devra apprendre à compter sur des alliés pour le moins inattendus. Seulement fuir la menace ne la rend pas moins réelle, et cela, Allyn ne tardera pas à le découvrir à ses dépens.

C’est un discours pour le moins intrigant que tient le directeur adjoint de l’Organisation à Allyn, après lui avoir fortement conseillé de le suivre dans un lieu mystérieux.
D’après lui, Allyn possèderait le même don qu’Axel, son frère défunt, à savoir celui de circuler dans un monde parallèle… mais dans quel but ?
Tout cela la laisse perplexe. Même si depuis deux mois elle vit une situation pour le moins surprenante, ce n’est pas pour autant qu’elle va croire en ce genre de chose.
Et pourtant…
Entrainée par le flot de révélations et le désir d’en apprendre plus sur son frère, Allyn doit se rendre à l’évidence, l’Organisation et la mission qui lui est confiée semblent bien réelles ! Et tous comptent sur elle pour reprendre le poste qu’Axel a laissé vacant, à l’exception de son coéquipier pour une raison encore obscure…
