Another flake lands on his hair. Then another. And another. He blinks, confused, then slowly straightens, gaze lifting to the sky. The tension doesn’t leave his body right away—it never does—but something eases around his eyes. Snow. Actual, honest-to-god snow. I step out from under the trees, tilting my face up as it falls thicker now, brushing my cheeks, my lashes, my lips. It’s cold and clean and impossibly quiet, like the world is holding its breath.

I dented the thing beyond repair and the huffed when I realized I couldn’t get my coat. I slammed my fist into it one more time and wrangled my long winter jacket out of it. I shrugged it on and immediately left the locker room. I pushed out into the center quad of the campus as white flurries descended from the sky. It was my first snow at Alpha Academy. I looked up and watched as the snowflakes drifted down from the midnight blue sky and into my face. They kissed my eyelashes before melting into my burning hot skin.

Sara Owen hugged her chest due to the cold. He looked at her. She was trembling. He straightened his coat on her torso and glanced at her sprained foot. She won't be able to walk fast.

I replied with a chuckle. Alessia stood and began to put her coat on when, all of a sudden, a gasp escaped from her as she rushed toward the open door. "Oh my goddess, Daunte, it's snowing!" Alessia exclaimed. A look of priceless wonder could be seen in her eyes. She rushed outside, her coat flying behind her, and ran around the small landing strip, arms outstretched, feeling the snow fall on her face and hair. She stopped and looked up, her eyes shining with delight.

“I've been here many times, but this is the first time I've seen snow. It really came at a good time. I think after a nap, tomorrow will see. Everything outside, covered in snow.” I lay down on the bed. And I grabbed his hand, And said gently. "And even? So I'm very lucky. The city of Seattle. It is very humid and it tends to rain and snow in summer and winter. I've seen a lot of it, but I've never seen snow in an ancient city. Carlos. Promise me? Now that you're going to build a snowman with me tomorrow, okay?" Carlos stroked my head and answered in a low voice. “Um, try resting first. I'm going to heat up some water to wash your feet.
