Skies We No Longer Share

Skies We No Longer Share

"Jeff? Is he your husband?" "No, he's a stranger." With those final words, Cecilia stood up and walked out without looking back. Zephyr City was known for its endless rainy days, and today was no different. Cecilia walked through the rain with her head held high, quickly vanishing into the crowd. Goodbye, Zephyr City. She had no ties to that place anymore...

Thrown to the Ocean

Thrown to the Ocean

Hence, the engagement banquet went ahead as planned. No one could have imagined it would be the last celebration I ever attended alive. Three hours after the banquet ended, I was stuffed into a sack and thrown into the ocean.

Ashes of the Sky

Ashes of the Sky

Gods. A pair of gryphons soar overhead, their bondeds laughing as they dive through the clouds. Direwolves and their humans moving in perfect sychronizon. One particulary unimpressed frost lynx lounges across a tree branch, glaring down at everyone beneath it like they are personally offending its existence. Further in the distance, Ironclad dragons train with their bondeds, bronze scales glimmering beneath the rising sun. Terrifying, but majestic. For a few silent moments, I simply watch. Because despite all else, I still love them. I always have, even though Aetherion Academy was not supposed to be my future.

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

It was a violent, beautiful evolution occurring in the span of a few breaths. The Sky-Wolves dove into the stream around us, their light-wings spanning ten feet as they acted as rudders for the drifting Feral-Sovereigns. They caught those whose forms flickered and fell, pulling them back into the light-stream with the practiced ease of shepherds. We were a migration of the damned, rising to meet the stars.

Beneath the Immortal Sky: A Heart Left Burning

Beneath the Immortal Sky: A Heart Left Burning

The Tiancang Sect’s mountain showed up on the eighth morning, and honestly, it was overwhelming. Three peaks, all lashed together with white stone bridges you could spot from miles off. Clouds tangled around them, drifting a little too purposefully to feel natural. Waterfalls spilled from the cliffs but disappeared into the mist before they ever touched the ground—like the mountain was too grand to let anything just finish. Cultivators glided between the peaks on their swords, tiny as birds from where Lihua stood. Their robes caught bright flashes of light.

The Alpha's Prickly Porcupine

The Alpha's Prickly Porcupine

The sky-mount is a terrifying, magnificent creature, its leathery wingspan wide enough to shadow the entire ruined courtyard in a flickering, bat-like veil. As it launches itself into the air, the world beneath us falls away, replaced by a dizzying, violent expanse of clouds and moonlight that threatens to swallow us whole. The freezing wind whips my hair into a frenzy, tearing at my eyes, stinging like abrasive salt, and I am forced to wrap my arms tightly around Daryl’s waist to keep from plunging into the jagged, frost-bitten peaks below. Every muscle in my body is screaming, stretched taut by the sheer velocity of our ascent.

Devil's Redemption

Devil's Redemption

The eagle screeched once again and fled away to find a safe shelter sensing the changes in the atmosphere. The pulpit standing on the solid ground frowned at the darkening sky. For a moment, they almost confused it with the night only to realize that the sun did rise a few hours ago. For them, it was a dream they’ve been watching for a long time. The heavy sky was a hope they have collected in the doomed years, yet it shocked them, watching the clouds full of essence hovering over them. The ground beneath their feet vibrated with need as the dark clouds collided, creating a sonnet that descended to the burning core of the earth.

Pyromania

Pyromania

Marina commanded While Dragging Little Mariana from her dazed state. She looked up once again and noticed that she cannot even see the sky anymore; the approaching colossus was even closer the first time she noticed its arrival. The clouds before were now replaced by hanging sky vines, the roots of the sky tree, and stalactites which all seemed to be pointed in their direction. Also, they had also been completely blocked by the sunlight. “But grandma, I want to look at it! It’s so big and beautiful and how is it flying?! It’s so amazing!” Mariana exclaimed.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

They paid close attention whenever a beast of fortune acknowledged its owner. However, the day seemed beautiful to ordinary humans, with clear skies and fascinating cloud formations. From afar, the clouds resembled dragons, and rainbows streaked the sky in certain places. The effects were most vivid at the seafood market, where all the fish became unusually lively. Curious onlookers stopped to snap photos of the massive cloud. Among them was Homer, who gazed at the sight with envy etched on his face. "A prodigy has descended. Go and search for that person. We must find them this time!"

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

Beloved Alpha King

Beloved Alpha King

Xia peered up at the thunderous sky and sighed. "The heaven is angry, but it doesn't have to punish such innocent creatures," he peered back at the twitching fishes. As soon as he said this, water that had drained started to fill up miraculously. 'Oh...oh... are my words so powerful?' Xia thought in glee as he watched the fished swim away. "Get the ores our now!!!!" Oli shouted, but the huge oars were firmly stuck inside the slushy mud.
