The one that had made my heart ache without knowing why. The bird in the sky. The fish in the water. And this time, I looked at it. Really looked at it. The sky was painted with wild, angry brushstrokes, streaked with gray and violent blue. The bird was white and elegant, hovering mid-flight, wings flared wide as if struggling to stay aloft. Below it, the clear blue water rippled around a single fish that stared upward, mouth slightly open, as if calling to the bird. Trapped in two worlds.

Damien felt the hairs rise on his arms. He should have left. Every instinct told him to leave. Instead, he stayed. The song continued. The ocean changed. The wind died. The waves became smaller. The clouds seemed to stop moving. And then the fish appeared. Hundreds. Silver bodies flashed beneath the surface. They gathered around Marrine. Then the birds came. Seagulls descended from the cliffs. Dozens of them. They circled overhead. Not screaming. Not fighting. Simply circling. Watching. Damien's mouth went dry.

"Because the Earth is finally going to breathe," she said. "And it starts by exhaling you." The ocean beneath us began to rise. Not a wave. A mountain. What is the 'Harvest' actually collecting?

Metis handed over her phone, and there was a picture of a picture on the screen. "She drew this?" Erebus asked in awe as he staring at that picture. It was a picture of the ocean. The whole picture was blue, yet the light, foggy blue of the sky and the dark, heavy blue of the water gave the whole painting a low gravity, as if the ocean is with the weight of the whole world while the sky was a feather of dream, floating above.

Ryu smiled after a laugh. “Yes,” Luna agreed, “After all, he is Theon.” After we all mumbled our non-reluctant wishes, Luna finally let the lantern go, flying up to the cold, midnight sky we dragons were promised to soar. As we longed for that very day to come, all that we can do as of now is to appreciate this scene of colorful rectangular objects soaring up to the sky in our stead. Our soft smiles fabricated silence, as we all gaze up to the night sky, praying that whoever is living there may our best of intentions be heard.
