Five Years of Lies: My Secret Escape

Five Years of Lies: My Secret Escape

So, they had no choice but to explain the backstory of that scrunchie. "When Xavier was a child, he was kidnapped. A little girl wearing that scrunchie saved him. He didn't cry when he came home. On the contrary, he smiled, saying that he'd met an angel." Familiar memories began to resurface in my mind. Back then, I had gone to play in an abandoned neighborhood nearby. Xavier had been locked behind a chained fence like a dirty stray dog. To rescue him, I told the police to use me as bait. After he was saved, my mom beckoned for me to go home for dinner. So, I left before he even had a chance to thank me.

Five Years a Virgin

Five Years a Virgin

So no matter how hard I tried to win you, you never touched me. "Well, congratulations. You're free now." With that, I shut off my phone, leaned back in my seat in exhaustion, and drifted off to sleep. … Meanwhile, in Moon Goddess Church, Alaric surveyed the final decorations with a rare mix of tension and anticipation in his chest. Five years ago, he owed me a proper mating ceremony, courtesy of his mysophobia. He knew I had endured my fair share of hardship for the past five years. He'd planned to use our fifth anniversary as a chance to gather the pack and crown me as his only Luna in a grand mating ceremony everyone would remember.

Five Years Too Late

Five Years Too Late

I was shaking so hard I could barely stand, my chest heaving with a pain so sharp it felt like physical glass. "Answer me!" I shrieked. "Do not tell me I’m paranoid! Do not sit there and lie to my face when I am holding the proof in my hands, Damian. You were in Chicago! You had these in your pocket while you were kissing me in the car! While you were inside me!" He tried to shake me off, his face twisting into a mask of disgust. "Emilka, stop it. You’re being hysterical. You’re ruining everything because you want to play detective. I’m going to the guest room. I can't deal with this drama tonight.”

Five Years Too Late

She covered her nose and walked back into the house, pointing the camera inside. "Look. Miles has turned the house into a landfill. "I want to bring him back too, but look at how filthy he is. How am I supposed to bring him home like this?" I felt terribly wronged and muttered stiffly, "I'm not filthy." What can a five-year-old do? I've been dead for five years, and you still don't know. "Let me see Brother's house! I want to see!" A bright, lively voice came from the video. An eight-year-old boy in a little suit appeared on the screen, looking like a small prince.

The Ace at the Apex

The Ace at the Apex

Now that he had an idea about this little skirmish, Javier could not help but ask aloud, “If you’ve known it was Freddy all along, then what’s stopping you from reporting him to the authorities?” “The fact that there’s no concrete proof, Mr. Kersey! This is definitely the doing of Freddy’s lackeys, but boy, they insisted that the snakes got out on their own by some freak accident! I got the cops to interfere, but there was very little they could do other than detain these ne’er-do-wells for ‘disturbing the local peace and order’...” Derek moaned. “As if this means anything to these louts! They are gangsters, Mr. Kersey. They ain’t scared of any kind of detainment. It’s part of their lifestyl

Ryan, I'm crazy for him and want to read more about him never been obsessed with a fictional character this much but this book got me. I really loved the concept as it's something new to read about. although Jenny seems like good character I still need more chapters to reed to feel connect with her.
Kikky Alem
well written blurb that got me interested in this book and now I'm simpinh over Ryan and Asher. damn' the two best male leads. writing is smooth and easy to get connected with. although I feel that the book is bit slow processing but again I love the way the author makes me worth while. update more.

Too Late To Love, I want Revenge Now!

Too Late To Love, I want Revenge Now!

It was f*cking good. It was so good that I was going to do it again and again, but then, 'smart pants Dennis' caught me and I just had to change the narrative to suit myself. I sacrificed sex for money, and it was worth it though. Victor cowardly bowed to our requests, and we cashed out big… It was almost a minute and Freya was still inside. Says a lot! She’s not coming. She lied. I took my phone, swiped a couple of times and in no time, a car pulled over beside me and I hopped in.

Five More Minutes

Five More Minutes

I jumped on my bed and checked my phone, seeing a text notification plastered on my screen. Of course it just had to be my damned mother. Who else could it be? Lyssa Hendrix, the "queen" of the mafia. She was nothing better than my father; if anything, she was worse. She was cold, brutal, and didn't care about anything but herself. It disgusted me. I opened my phone, reading the text. "You're coming clubbing with me tomorrow. It's going to be so much fun!"
