MOTH AND FLAMES

MOTH AND FLAMES

The ritual would end sooner or later. As I was going to cut for the 26th time the flames flared engulfing me and Alex. Surprisingly it didn’t burn me or Alex. I felt power surge through me. With the passing time, the flames around Alex grew milder and milder while the one around me grew stronger and stronger. Then with a burst of red light, the flames vanished and the Alexart stopped glowing too. Alex was sitting in the same position as before but his face was paler. I tried to wake him up by tapping his cheeks.“ Alex! Alex!”

Tattoo on her Face

Tattoo on her Face

I twisted my head slightly, catching a glimpse of silver inside his mouth. Oh! It is Fire who has me constrained. I didn't struggle or show any emotion. "It's not my fault he's weak." I said blankly. Flame returned to his feet as well. I found the katana that I threw a while ago. It lay still on the ground, unnoticed. Enrage, Flame approached me. "This is for Flare." He spat as he throw a punch on my face. I use Fire's strength as a pillar and lift both legs to block his incoming punch before it hits me. I wound my legs around his arm and twisted it until I heard a crack, which meant I had broken his bone and kicked his chest as hard as I could.

Throne of Blood

Throne of Blood

There's no in-between. The first part is out for now. I asked Flame to stay on standby—an option he wasn't thrilled about since the lack of action bores him. That makes two of us. Flame and I are the types who will only accept a mission if we deem it exciting enough. The adrenaline wave is our bitch, and we ride it every chance we get. Now, the only one I want to ride me is Rose. I like how adorable she looks when she thinks she has the upper hand before I flip her onto her back and tease her while—

Seeing Liam's deformed expression made Sylvia panic. "Get out... get out!" Liam yelled, roughly pushing Sylvia away. Sylvia did not understand why Liam was mad, she hurriedly stepped back, fearfully looking at Liam as if she were looking at a monster. In an extremely cramped and dark small room, 14-year-old Liam sat on an old bench with piles of books over his head. Next to the owner of the Vineyard - Olive Vineyard, a harsh and extremely cruel man.

Silent Flame

Silent Flame

“Then we do this together.” Celeste nodded. “The first fire will be named. The justification dismantled. And the pattern broken.” Outside, the city lights flickered on as evening settled. The world continued, unaware of the history written into ash beneath its feet. Evelyn looked once more at the folder on the table. Fires. Names. Lies framed as necessity. The first fire had been lit in fear. This time, the truth would burn instead. And it would not stop until the pattern was gone.

Flames of burning desire

Flames of burning desire

Flames of desire He cupped her breast with his hands as he aggressively devoured her nipples with his mouth, one after another. "Oh fuck," she moaned and slid her hands down his chest to the taut line of his abdomen, and made every muscle that made him manly ache for her even more, he rolled his tongue in circular motion around her nipples and sent more shivers down her spine.

A Flame in the Shadow

A Flame in the Shadow

Ember is dressed in fire-forged armor, standing over my chained body. “You were always too soft, Bastion.” She says. “Too foolish and self-centered to see what I really needed.” The same man stands behind her, arms folded, looking like a muscle-bound god. “You want me to kill him, Flame?” She smiles “No. let him rot. He was never worth my time.” The vision faded and I screamed, not out loud, my dry throat couldn’t handle it. But inside, where it counts. Where she wants it to hurt.

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

And I can see a red hue crawling up from the center of the basin it sits in. I can no longer hear anyone, but I can feel all of their fear and uncertainty. I can’t allow those three to inflict so much havoc on us. I watch the red crawl through the black and purple flame and I feel the flames relax as if the red color of my anger is burning away some impurity. Then the base of the flame turns silver. This time eating through the black and purple of the flame leaving an almost invisible flame behind. I keep focusing, letting my instincts guide me. My wolf says this is a clean slate, we can build the protection the way that we want. I imagine my mates, my friends and family, the pups, all

this is one of the best novels that I have read. yes there were typos and a few blurbs but even with that and a proper publisher it would be an outstanding buy for my bookshelf. I would recommend this to anyone. my mind was so connected to the characters that I cried a couple times too many, lol.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ever since I stumbled upon the flames loop concept in 'NieR:Automata,' it's haunted me in the best way possible. At surface level, it's just a gameplay mechanic—those eerie, flickering torches that reset when you revisit areas. But symbolically? It feels like a brutal metaphor for existential cycles. The flames never truly die; they just relight endlessly, mirroring how androids in the game repeat their futile wars without progress. It echoes themes from 'Groundhog Day' or 'Dark,' where time loops expose humanity's stuckness. Maybe the devs wanted us to feel that eerie déjà vu too—like realizing you're trapped in your own patterns.

What clinches it for me is how the loop contrasts with the game's rare moments of genuine change. When 2B breaks protocol to save 9S, or when players sacrifice save files to help strangers—those defy the loop. The flames become this beautiful, tragic backdrop: a reminder that breaking cycles requires conscious rebellion. Makes me wonder how many 'flames' I mindlessly relight in my own life.
