TAWNY 4 MONTHS EARLIER For weeks we trained the Cambiador warriors. Taking a page out of MacTire’s book and splitting the warriors into five groups. Alpha, Beta, and Delta platoons. The other two platoons were named Gamma divisions. They were the warriors that would stay behind and protect the Kingdom’s capital. Then there were the new recruits, the younger werecats - the Zeta team. It was their job to act as enforcers in emergencies until they came of age or moved up to the gamma divisions.

The warrior's eyes widened in shock as he felt his heart stop, and he fell to the ground, dead. Three warriors remained, their confidence shattered. They attacked in a desperate, coordinated effort, hoping to overwhelm Blaze through sheer numbers. Blaze met them head-on, his movements a blur of lethal precision. He delivered a devastating knee strike to one warrior's abdomen, causing him to double over in agony. With a swift motion, Blaze snapped the man's neck and turned to face the remaining two. One of them managed to land a punch on Blaze's shoulder, but Blaze barely flinched. He grabbed the warrior's arm, twisted it behind his back, and then delivered a brutal kick to the man's spine.

"Please, do not hurt him. I will go with you. I will do whatever you want. Just do not hurt him." Ronan smiled. "How touching." Then everything happened at once. The wall exploded. Stones and dust flew everywhere as the guards screamed and scattered. Through the smoke, I saw warriors. Dozens of them. They wore silver armor and carried the banner of the Silvercrest Pack. Flair stepped through the smoke with her eyes blazed with fury. "Get your hands off my niece," she barked coldly. Ronan's face twisted with rage. "Attack them!" The guards charged but Flair's warriors met them head on. The corridor erupted into chaos as sords clashed, wolves howled and blood splattered on the walls.
