Foundling

Foundling

Hawks circled in the clear blue searching for prey below in glades and grasslands. Gliding aloft, wind whistling through feathers spread wide like fingers to catch the rising drafts of heat and air, heads swiveling, eyes darting, it was up not down that they should have been studying. Startled, they shrieked their displeasure as Poe parted their ranks, breaking their aerial ballet as he descended limned in argent and gold.

Fated In Darkness

Fated In Darkness

Not this quickly. Fledglings always floundered in the beginning, wild, unpredictable, their bodies powerful but clumsy. It took months, sometimes years, for them to adapt, to hone control over speed, strength, reflex. But Natalie… my little fox… she had matched me head-on in her first sparring session.

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars because it deserves it! This book is worth the read! It is intriguing and suspenseful filled with the need to want to uphold a century long treaty of peace but it is all starting to crash when love and fate steps in and turn everything upside down.

Feral Pledge

Feral Pledge

His wolf has been on the edge since they entered Downtown Street which is quite strange. Of a truth, he was impressed by the work done on that site. He had only seen the architectural plan months before the building began and he left all to Kael. His Beta and best friend didn't disappoint him after all. “Boss, can I make a request?” Kael spoke again, but carefully this time around. When he got no response, he took that as his go-ahead and speaks again: “Since I will also be the one to manage this new branch, I think I should get an assistant. Do you think it's a good idea, boss?”

Fleeing To Your Heart

Fleeing To Your Heart

“You’ll be in big trouble.” “I already know that.” There was a hint of sarcasm as I looked back at the small window of the bathroom stall where my bestfriend Ariel was standing, pushing the backpack that she prepared for my escape. My escape. As exaggerated as it may sound, I found this very moment as my escape. The Coachella was the perfect event, the only event that I had to get away from all the craziness in my life right now. I just turned 21 and in a few weeks I would be shipped out to marry someone I barely know. I was being sacrificed to grow my father’s empire even bigger.

Falling, Fallen.

Falling, Fallen.

"What did you do when I was in school?" Sasha nibbled on the rice grains and ignorantly replied. "Past is past. You are here now." Her silly smile made Jeremy only agitated. He can guess how badly Sasha lived before he moved in as well. With the boxes of cup noodles he had to throw out right after moving in, he was sure that Sasha lived a somewhat half NEET life. (a/n : NEET here means not in education, employment or training, basically a hikikomori.) After Sasha finished the porridge, Jeremy gave her a painkiller and kept the other on her study table.

The Vampire's Kiss Goodnight

The Vampire's Kiss Goodnight

I could see the text from where I was sitting. With there being two new fledglings in the castle we'll both have to be extra careful with them. Remember to not let her out of your eye sight. Fledglings will mistake other fledglings as humans easily and might attack each other from instinct and hunger. We'll both have to do well to teach them the difference in smells. Remember to check on her hunger often because they grow hungry easier than us. If you need advice on your fledgling you can always come to me or your other siblings. Her clothes are in the closet, produ

Fleeting Love

Fleeting Love

My parents’ delighted voices filled my ear. “It’s good that you finally figured things out, Jon. No matter how good Ellis is, she’s ten years older than you. People will always talk. “Do you remember the youngest daughter of the Fallstars? She’s your age and has been waiting for you!” “I understand. Go ahead and prepare for the wedding. I’ll be there in three days.” After hanging up, I drew several deep breaths, steadying myself for a long moment before opening the door and walking inside.

I asked, unsure of my own words. “How about a month?” my aunt rephrased, “really get to know them, get all the juicy details. Flair Mag is offering you a top entertainment position if you manage to get it done. I know you dream of working for them and this is the fastest ticket there,” Aunt Molly explained. I looked down yet again at the sheet knowing very well Aunt Molly was right. I had been dreaming to work there as an Entertainment journalist for years, and that would be made possible if I completed the task. My career would officially take off but- there was always a -but.

Foster

Foster

A little too well-timed to have come from the sky. Grace Marks had said the morning clouds looked like angels hanging their laundry. And by then I was feeling a little like Grace Marks myself, because what woman on this good earth had ever gone madder? The rain was a little like they were marching. Carrying a coffin in a funeral parade. And I didn’t have the thought that it was my coffin until a dark crow landed to preen on the hood of Damon’s car. A good omen. Except a stout magpie landed by its side. Because father used to sing to me: one for sorrow, two for mirth. Three for a funeral, four for a birth. And this perfect pair of life and death opened their beaks in the spots of clear glass

My Fake Alpha Boyfriend

My Fake Alpha Boyfriend

I say reassuringly. Flutter hesitates for a moment, still cautious and unsure. It gazes at me with a mix of worry and curiosity. Slowly, it inches closer, its tiny wings fluttering nervously. I hold my hand out, palm up, as a gesture of trust. "I promise, no more belly touches," I say softly. "Just your back, if you're comfortable with it."
