My Second Chance Mate Is My Nemesis

My Second Chance Mate Is My Nemesis

Different from the equally sweet scent that wafted across the room now. He couldn't explain why he was longing for her this badly, ever since he had woken up to prepare for the festival. Releasing a soft sigh, he deeply drew in some of the scent in the air. Unbeknownst to him, it was the intoxicating scent of the Flora’yn Bloom. He had actually been affected by the flower, just like Ambrose and his other men. But the effect wasn't obvious, because the only woman he found himself longing for, was Vaelora.

Freya’s nails, which were cut like daggers, sliced against Cassiopeia's cheek, leaving a visible claw mark. Cassiopeia was bewildered by what Freya was saying. "I don't know what you are talking about. Let me go." "You’re still lying!" Freya gestured at the pale-looking Liam, who was lying on the bed, and teared up. "Liam is only four years old and just had a kidney transplant. How can you be so cruel to him? Aren’t you a mother too?"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

CEO's Revenge Game

CEO's Revenge Game

She needed some fighting spirit to compete with her! As her footsteps moved through the corridor, she quickly arrived at Chiyoko's bedroom door, which was left ajar. She overheard Nancy enthusiastically persuading her to consume various supplements. Chiyoko was arranging a bunch of champagne roses one by one into a flower vase, wearing a sweet and contented smile. Those vibrant champagne roses were Flora's favorite, symbolizing nobility and purity. Raising her shoes, Flora involuntarily walked towards that exquisite bouquet. Her appearance caught Nancy's attention, who looked at her with a hint of gloating before leaving. Chiyoko also noticed her, and her smile deepened.

she giggled and started looking at her flowers ,"you shouldn't let the fight last for so long. You shouldn't let her sleep with a heavy heart. I know you feel heavy too, just make up, hmm?" "y-yeah" I just answered. "oh here!" she showed me a bouquet of white flowers which I don't know what it is called. "this is the lily of the valley bouquet. This doesn't actually symbolize sorry, but this symbolizes sincerity" she explained. I looked at the bouquet and it's so beautiful. I looked up at her and said ,"yes, Miss. I'll get that. Where's the note?" I always asks for a note. She gave me one and a pen.

Protecting the Wolfless Enigma

Protecting the Wolfless Enigma

I had asked, pointing at the beautiful flower, which seemed to stand taller than the rest. “That sweetheart is a white calla lily. It is one of my favorites and it would be the flower I would choose if there was a flower that would represent you. It means purity and innocence. In many cultures though, it is similar to the daisy as it also means a new beginning.” Without me asking, she plucked it from her garden and tucked it behind my ear. Reaching up I touched it and felt the soft petals. My mother then picked another flower and handed it to me.

I love this story. I have re-read it many times. Not only is it interesting, but you find out more about each character. There's a bit of a mystery involving one of the main characters she is adopted, and she doesn't know who her true parents are; but most of all, she finds true love.

Billionaire's Regrets

She pointed to the apartment building in front of the flower shop. Peeking at the building, the handsome young man gasped. “Oh? You are really near from here.” Jane nodded her head very quickly. “So, just like what I’ve said to you before, I studied in the Botany department. I know a lot about flowers and plants." She pointed to the flowers one after another and gave them their names. "White Lilac means innocence, blue Hydrangea means apology, Chamomile is a symbol of rest and relaxation, Blue pansy represents trust in love and..."

When Arrows Fly

When Arrows Fly

Slinking to the counter, I trained my eyes at Newman as he slowly turns to face me, holding a bouquet of hyacinth flowers. “This flowers, what do they mean?” His question surprised me, I observed him to see that he is bowing down on the flowers, a sad regretful emotion apparent in his eyes. “ It means, forgiveness. If you are asking for an apology, that’s the perfect flower to give.” Newman’s piercing gaze pinches my heart. I smiled at him but he did not return it back, his eyes narrowed at the collection of flowers before him, taking a pink camellia from the bunch, “And this flower?”
