The red cardboard box is still there, and as we approach it I notice the lid is still closed from the last time my grandma shut it. I open it and the spell books and magic books are still inside. I blow the dust away and brush it aside with the kitchen towel. The book of elder magic floats in the air and a great light appears before our eyes. The pages move by themselves as the book glows in the air before us. The pages turn to a spell with a picture of the luna lily flowers on the page. I look at a mirror in the corner of my grandma's attic and hear scurrying on my grandma's roof.

Daniel ordered and I did, I tried to put it inside my cloth but I'm stopped immediately by a tall figure, a woman probably a library attendant. "Are u trying to steal books?" She asked in her British accent and crossed her arms to stare at me " no, I was just um.." "Cleaning." Daniel completes. " She was just cleaning" " don't come to this section again, it's not for public" she orders and grabs the book from my hand. Then shoves us away, we turned and left. " I have a feeling the reason why miss flora didn't get that book was because of the library attendant" Daniels turn back

I take a book about herbal medicine. Sitting on the couch, flicking through the pages, I toss the book aside. I leave the room and wander up the hall. The smell of cooked apples and warm caramel hit my nose again. I follow the smell until it leads me to an old staircase that goes up into an attic I slowly walk up the stairs. They appear rotten and damp. I reach the door handle, turn the knob, and push the door open. As the door creaks open, I see a really old thin mattress in the corner of the room—a broken chair in the other corner and a full-length broken mirror missing half the glass.

She would tell Lu-Lu the whole episode of what just happened and they'd laugh at it together. Knowing fully well that she wouldn't be able to fall asleep again, she decided to read a book. A novel Lu-Lu had borrowed her over a month ago. It was supposed to be a good book about a cowgirl and aliens. Trust Lu-Lu to pick the weirdest things. Mira settled down on her mini couch by her west window. Her room was actually the attic. When Mira and her mom had moved to this house. Mira immediately fell in love with the attic and its' window views. It had two windows, one facing the busy street while the other facing the forest behind the house. One window was always so lively while the other serene a

His dragon landed soundlessly on the ground in front of the house before he shifted back into his dragon form. The house is old as if no one touched it for years. Cobwebs, anthills, overgrown trees, and their hanging branches. Nothing about this place is telling him that someone could use it to lock up a girl out of her will. He walked inside and slowly took in the house, which has seen better days. The house is not big, but at the same time not so small either. It has two floors and an attic. He looked around the empty rooms with disinterest. He did not expect to find anything when he open the last door, which opened up into the attic. The moment he opened the door, his senses became alert

"That's definitely not the way you should describe your future wife, Henry." "I'm just telling the truth, aunt." His statement made mom sigh visibly as she said,"Let me take periwinkles for her. I'm pretty sure she's a very nice girl." "Too bad, aunt. Your hope will be crushed ruthlessly." "Whatever. Let's go, now." Mom rushed us out as she carried the flowers in her hands and followed. After a long good walk, we finally reached the Queen's palace as the guards who were guarding the gates moved away as we walked inside working our way to Eleanor's room.

Going to the kitchen I prepared myself a small breakfast of toast so I did not get morning sickness. Nibbling on it at the kitchen nook I asked Rinn if Cota was alright. “He is swamped with the pack house addition and new pack members, but plans on coming back soon,” she whimpered. Finished with my simple breakfast I headed into the large living room space. Atticus’s home was immaculate and the longer I stayed the more I had grown to appreciate the size and unique decor of magical artifacts. Hearing the front entrance door close I glanced up hoping Axel had returned. Seeing just Atticus enter my smile faltered.

I'm tired of being a coward and choosing the mediocre. If Lorcan wants to play a game then, so be it. I'm gonna show him how to play it, correctly. Trixy is full again and she took me to the apartment smoothly. After getting the keys, i left her in the garage and turned around to my abode. But to my surprise, Atticus is standing before the door with a bouquet of red roses on his arms. "Hey. What... brings you here?" I can't take off my eyes from the flowers. It just feels kind of weird.
