Flowers In The Attic Book の小説・ストーリー

Alpha Matthew suggested with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. "Oh, absolutely! The attic sounds enchanting," Charlotte exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement. We made our way up to the attic, carrying several boxes of fermented roses. The atmosphere up in the attic was chilly and slightly stuffy, as it was rarely used. "Quite a lot of spiders," Jamien complained. "Spiders are no worse than sneaky rats who feast on other people's money," I murmured. "Those rascally rats should be strung up and turned into meatballs for the devils," Charlotte responded.

Shaking my head, I try to swallow the lump in my throat and turn to jog after Reigh who's already at the next stair case. We walk silence and soon enough we reach the third floor but Reigh doesn't stop there and turns to the next staircase. Furrowing my brows in confusion, I follow behind. We stop when the stairs end at a door in the roof. Reigh opens it and climbs inside. When I peek my head up, I realize where we are. The attic. *Hmm, you could adjust here," Reigh says. "I'll tell someone to put a mattress here." I stare at her, fighting the urge to bash her head against the wall. Cool it Elizabeth, this woman is incharge here. Just breathe.

The rogue roared, and I turned to see the half-finished oak wood door that leaned against the door frame, the shiny brass knob catching the falling rays of the sun almost mesmerizingly. A ton of soldiers and nursemaids had arrived at the safe house after everything that had happened and yet there was still no sign of Michael…no sign of Emily. “Where should I keep this? Your Grace?” One of the pale-faced women in a monochrome milk-maid outfit rasped behind me and I turned to see her holding a thick blue flower vase in her hands. It would go well with the chestnut wood walls of my room. “Up in the attic, please Fiona,” I whispered, and the gaunt maid with wispy blonde hair and baby blue eyes n

Jack starts singing. I start laughing. The ghost doesn’t bother us, he keeps spinning in circles. I try exploring the rooms and make my way into the attic. Wow, the door was unlocked. There’s a spell book and so many candles in here. Hannah and Jack follow me. “This is sick, wow, Maleficent is awesome. I love my new boss.” She says.

Then he continued to move forward, sliding in his wheelchair. Until Thorne arrived at the door of the attic, William once again pestered him, saying, "Theodore, the attic is closed all year round, with poor ventilation. You shouldn't go in. It's not good for your health." Thorne sighed, "Dad, I had come all the way here, it would be a shame not to take a look." Then he cleverly stared at William and said, "Is there an unknown secret hidden in this attic?" William said, "No, absolutely not. We, the Fletcher family, are not like you, the Miller family. Our family is small, and we are the only ones living in this big courtyard. There is no scheming or secrets here."

I knew my mom would be pissed that I was even considering marrying this man, but the thought of him with someone else made a ball of furious rage form in my chest. I swallow as we stop in front of a high entry way covered by hanging flowers. "Have fun, Lady Delilah." I smile at Chepi and walk through the flowers. Here we go. The greenhouse was probably twenty feet by twenty feet, with rounded edges rather than squared like the rest of the rooms. The ceiling was replaced with a crisscrossing wood pattern, no glass though, just vines and flowers and moss climbing over the wood. I wondered if it'd form a natural roof one day. The sides of the room have rows of seedlings just barely sprouting, f

Instead, he went up the stairs to the attic. Was he finally… going to verify the truth? Mark summoned his courage and opened the door to the attic. The place stank of death. Even so, he still found the energy to yell, “What the hell are you doing, Jane—Argh! I’m giving you one last chance. If you don’t show up, I’m going to be really angry!” But he slowly fell silent and walked over to my body before squatting down in front of it. The attic was stuffy and hot, which caused my body to decompose to the point that I was practically unrecognizable. I had maggots crawling about my skin and rotten flesh.

Moh’s POV The attic was not like the rest of the manor. While the lower floors were a testament to Julian’s public-facing power, all marble, mahogany, and vast, open spaces, the attic was cramped, sweltering, and smelled of dust, old cedar, and the sharp tang of linseed oil. It was a graveyard for the things the Thorne family had outgrown, a labyrinth of draped furniture and stacked crates. But it was neat! As much as it could be.

, Drake asked in an urgent whisper while inching closer to the Omega who was now blushing profusely. "I… I…", the words were stuck in her throat. He was too handsome and too close, and all this was too sudden. "She… maybe…" "Yes? Yes!?", he asked impatiently. She blinked rapidly. "The attic. There is a girl living in the attic." ---

"Attic, niece. Now." I followed him up the creaky stairs, heart pounding with the thunder. The attic was dusty, filled with old trunks and heirlooms—faded portraits, rusted jewelry, a massive four-poster bed in the corner, canopy torn. Wind rattled the small window, rain pounding like fists. He locked the trapdoor behind us. "Storm's trapping us here. Perfect for breeding my little whore proper."
