The Peculiar Flower

The Peculiar Flower

She licked it and raised her eyebrow. “Why does my blood be tasteless?” she shook her head and shrugged. She continued arranging the roses while humming. She paused and turned to the left side. She closed her eyes and heightened her hearing ability. She opened her eyes and smiled. “I see, they are early. Excited, huh?” she said and dropped the roses, the flower that she unlike. She went out of her house. Bulwarks were running and screaming. Some of them bumped at her but she only smiled and continued walking.

Where the Flowers Go

Where the Flowers Go

A knot of anxiety grew in his stomach, but he was stuck there until the ceremony ended. Just as the bride was about to walk down the aisle, the courier handed Frank a bouquet. Susanna was mid-speech, and Frank nodded with a smile, lifting the flowers. However, his face went ghostly white when he saw the card. The courier said, "Sir, there's also a video. The lady who sent these flowers wanted you to see it. "She wishes you a lifetime of happiness with your chosen one and that she hopes you two never cross paths again—"

The Bully Games

The Bully Games

Here the air is clean, the countryside is spectacular, and you don't need to worry about people unless you choose to. Atticus is watching me gape at the fall leaves, smiling as he sees me marvel at their long limbs weighted down with dew and jewel-like leaves. His expression changes, growing serious for a moment as he watches me. I don't think he realized he was staring until I made a point of smiling back at him.

Encore with the Devil

Encore with the Devil

It’s a photo of long wooden tables under olive trees, strings of lights twinkling overhead, and simple white flowers in mismatched glass bottles. “That’s my favorite,” I say before I can stop myself. Mia grins. “Of course it is,” she says. “It’s ‘sad girl goes cottagecore.’” “It’s pretty,” I protest. “It is,” Luca agrees. “It’s also the one we can actually pull off without causing an aneurysm in your florist.” “The florist deserves it,” Mia mutters. “He called baby’s breath ‘whimsical.’” “You *are* whimsical,” I say. “You just hide it under eyeliner.”

he says as I try to support him. I looked up and nearly burst into tears at what I saw. Florence's body pinned to the attic door. The hilt of a blade sticking out of her stomach. The door was ajar. I am like a bull seeing a red flag as I dart towards her. Whoever has done this to her needs to suffer, and I mean suffer. I am so angry as I push past her. “NNNOOO.” a man’s voice cries out from inside the attic. I walked up behind him, about to knock him out. Florence gives a little cough. She’s alive? Thank the goddess she is still alive.

This is not right. I read all the individual books until the war in the palace when the wolf council are defeated. Now that I am re reading, I have to pay again for the chapters that has already been paid. You also cut off Nik's story in the middle and made the half as book 4. official complain.

Grimaldi's Blood and Vows

Grimaldi's Blood and Vows

She was just here a while ago but suddenly disappeared. "She’s in the garden, Sir," one of the housemaids answered. I nodded and went straight to find my wife. I found Arietta there. She was admiring the flowers that were now in full bloom. "What are you doing here?" I asked as I couldn’t resist and immediately hugged her from behind. Arietta smiled at me and continued watching the flowers. "Nothing, just getting some fresh air." As she said this, a strong breeze blew. "I also noticed those flowers. Some of them have wilted, so I removed them."

Emerald Eyed Luna: Grant's Revenge

Emerald Eyed Luna: Grant's Revenge

“Come on!” Damian said as he grabbed my hand and basically pulled me along with him. I barely felt my ribs as we flew up the stairs to the attic. “This way!” I yelled when we got to the landing. The attic was massive, as it was all unfinished and exposed. The only thing that made it inviting was the mini fridge that mom put in the corner of the room so she didn’t have to walk all the way downstairs to get water. The balcony door was shut. The lock wasn’t turned and there was a coolness to the air that made me feel like it had been opened. “I don’t see anything out of place.” Damian muttered as he examined the door.

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

As we got up, Esther trying to hold back her guilty sobs, Kizzy came close to me once we were hidden by the staircase. "Meet us in the attic once you've showered," she told me. All I did was nod, but I wasn't sure on what she meant. I wanted to ask, but the queens were still around, Mama skeptical about our testaments. So, I went on and showered quickly, putting on some Capri pants and a tank top, and hurried to the attic. My hair was still a wet, knotted mess, dripping all around me as I ascended the staircase to the attic. Apparently, my room wasn't the attic like I thought—just one of the higher rooms. The entrance to the attic was down a hall through the Coterie's meeting room. I climbed

Alpha’s Unexpected Bride

Harmony prances in my head in agreement, she too longs to be in her mates arms back. I deviate from the subject to comment on the big pyres that caught my attention. I hear music and people laughing, the pack members are definitely having a good time. The smell of barbecue and food is making me salivate but Atticus makes a beeline to the mansion taking us further away from the crowd, “Atticus, what is all this? “Is Litha, our version of Midsummer celebration. “Its beautiful” “No, my love, you are the most beautiful.”

Wolves & Magic (Ambersky Pack Series Book 1-3)

These men better keep their noses down, there was no telling what I would do if either of them sniffed the air too hard. Fuck, Sebastian! Primal much?! Anyway, I sniffed the air again and that was when I smelled it. Faint, but it was there. Behind her rich chocolaty blend with the delicious flavor of peaches and a beguiling freshness of mint, something else caught my attention. I knew that was what Atticus smelled. “You have got to be fucking kidding me!” I scrambled from the stool and stormed outside without a second glance, anger seeping from my pores. “What are you doing? Get back in there?” Atticus barked.

Questions fréquentes

The 'Flowers in the Attic' movie adaptation is a wild ride, but whether it's worth watching depends on what you're after. If you're into gothic family dramas with a heavy dose of melodrama and taboo themes, it might scratch that itch. The story follows the Dollanganger kids, who are locked away in their grandmother's attic, and the twisted dynamics that unfold. The 2014 Lifetime version, starring Kiernan Shipka, leans hard into the campy, over-the-top vibe of V.C. Andrews' original novel. It's not high cinema, but it's oddly gripping in a soap-opera-meets-horror kind of way.

That said, don't expect subtlety. The acting can be hammy, and some plot points feel rushed compared to the book. But if you enjoy messed-up family sagas like 'Sharp Objects' or 'The Secret Garden' gone wrong, it's a fun, dark binge. Just maybe not one to watch with your parents.
