Escaping From My Ruthless Alpha

Escaping From My Ruthless Alpha

They disappear into the darkness just as silently as they came. The next morning, Rmonica returns, a look of horror crossing her face as she sees the flowers beginning to wilt, their once-brilliant colors dimming. She kneels, her hands trembling as she tries to revive the plants, watering them, pruning them. Her care is tireless, and though her efforts bring a glimmer of life to some blooms, others continue to wither and die. The cloaked figure returns night after night, pouring more of the dark substance into the garden. And with each passing day, more flowers succumb, their beauty snuffed out despite Rmonica’s desperate attempts to save them.

TABOO (A DEAL WITH THE SHADOW ALPHA)

TABOO (A DEAL WITH THE SHADOW ALPHA)

I carried it to my dining table like it might explode, my fingers trembling as I lifted the lid. Inside, nestled in tissue paper as black as midnight, were flowers. But not just any flowers. They were the most dramatic, dangerous-looking flowers I had ever seen. Deep, blood-red roses, so dark they were almost black, mixed with strange, elegant black lilies that looked like they’d been grown in moonlight. There was no sweet, gentle scent. It was something richer, spicier. It smelled like power. There was a simple, thick card nestled among the stems. No handwritten note. Just crisp, typed words.

Lucian's Undoing

Lucian's Undoing

The other guard, a woman named Lyra, looked back and forth between Lucian and Elias, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword, as if instinctively ready to fight. “What is it?” Lucian’s voice was cold. Emory swallowed, his eyes darting nervously. “We felt a... presence. A dark presence. The air has changed. And... there’s something else.” He stepped forward, cautiously, as though afraid to approach too closely. “A flower. A rare one. A dark flower. It’s here.” Lucian’s heart skipped a beat. He knew exactly what they were talking about. The Black Bloom. A flower tied to the use of dark magic. A flower that could only grow in places soaked in dark energy—energy like that which Isadora wielded

In The Dark

In The Dark

That would legit be it and I would become a nun. I was also convinced that I likely burned 20,000 calories last night so I ordered a whole pizza and wings just for myself. I was just getting into my Law and Order marathon when it dawned on me I never thanked Derek for the flowers. Shit! I tried to think of something witty to say but I came up empty. I simply said, “thank you for the amazing garden, no one has ever sent me flowers before.” He wrote back immediately, “I’m jealous they are close to you now, but I’ve got less than 24 hours. I hope you have the perfect panties for me. I can’t wait.”

Another good story by this author! I do wish there was a little more at the end because it did feel a little rushed. But other than that, I truly enjoyed reading this story. I highly recommend both stories by this author! They’re very detailed, flow perfectly, and keep you wanting more. Awesome job!

Literally one of the best books on this app. This is one of those few books that I could actually read again! Totally unique plot. You think it’s going in a certain direction and then it switches up keeping you interested. Total page turner. And FANTASTIC/SEXY love story!

Love in the dark

Love in the dark

The dark corner was pitch black without a glimmer of light or moonlight. Zoey caught the faint smell of alcohol. Her palms against the man's chest felt solid to the touch. The fabric of the man's suit was of the highest quality because it was soft and comfortable. She was night-blind, so she couldn't see anything in the dark. Going by her gut and the familiar scent, she fell silent for a bit before whispering, "Laurence?" Like a stone thrown into the sea, her cries went unanswered. She was afraid of the dark. As time passed, the fear took her, and her lashes fluttered.

Hope
I already read up to the latest chapter but Laurence still haven't discovered that Sarah was not the girl who was with him when he was kidnapped, what's taking so long for the truth to come out, getting bored reading this book..also our comments will not be published unless we give 5 stars

Guys I think since everyone complained in the comments that there were missing chapters from ch 232 so I guess they are reuploading from where they have missed last time again in sequence.... I think we should give them little time....

“It's not that I don't want to see you. I'm afraid of what seeing you will do to me.” “Like?” He steps forward. I say nothing. “Can I come in?” He whispers. “I don't want to risk being seen here.” It's only then that I notice the cap fully drawn over his face. That isn't enough though to hide his identity. I open my door wider and he steps in. I lock the door behind me and realize my mistake when I turn back to him and notice his stiff back. I shouldn't have left the book on the bed. His eyes are hard when he turns to me. “Is that what you want, Zara?” He glances again at the book cover; a sinful image of a man bent over a woman on all fours.

Till the Flower Blooms

Till the Flower Blooms

Unfortunately, the happy times were long behind them. Cassiopeia took out the pictures and tore off Lucas's figure from each one of them before throwing them into the trash can. Anya and she were the only ones that remained. Halfway through packing, she caught the whiff of a repulsive smell. She frowned instinctively. When she went to open the door, the smell grew sharper. When she had taken a few steps forward, she was hit with a heavy wave of nausea and almost lost her balance. She staggered a few steps before planting herself against the wall. Her head felt like mud.

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

The Void wasn't consuming universes because it hated them. The Void wasn't destroying realities because it wanted to. The Void remained because it was the only thing that remained. The last witness. The last survivor. The last memory. And perhaps, the loneliest thing in existence. The eye blinked. A single tear appeared. Not water. Not light. Something stranger. A droplet of pure darkness. It fell from the heavens. The moment it touched reality, a flower bloomed. A black flower. Beautiful. Fragile. Alive.

Pregnant with Four Alphas' Babies Vol. 2: Descendants

Pregnant with Four Alphas' Babies Vol. 2: Descendants

I’ve never seen a single one in Dark Forest, and until my bouquet, I’d only seen a single illustration in books. I hurry forward to get a better look. With so many of them here, all the different shades of yellow are visible, some bright and almost white, and others almost an orange. I painstakingly collect one of each shade, careful not to disrupt the others so their lovely pattern remains on the hillside. And then something changes... the thickness in the air, the scent. Something isn’t right. My head throbs, and I put my palm up to it. It isn’t the flowers because I can still smell their sweet scent through the other smell, which is rancid, like the smell of petroleum or rubber in a fire.
