When Lina Vale Became Elena Valenti Again

When Lina Vale Became Elena Valenti Again

"Is Papa angry?" Dante’s mouth twitched. "Furious. He also ordered the cook to make your favorite pasta." For the first time that day, I smiled. As the SUV pulled away, I took out my phone, removed the SIM card, and snapped it in half. At the private terminal, a Valenti jet waited with its engines already humming. Julian’s world had always kept me outside the cockpit door. Mine had been waiting on the runway all along. Behind us, commercial flights lifted into the sky one by one. Somewhere beyond those glass walls, Julian was taking another woman to see the aurora.

" With that, I slammed the door in his face. Outside, I could hear his muffled sobs and the sharp sound of him slapping himself. I leaned against the door and let out a long breath. ... A year later. I received my music app's annual report again. This time, the keyword was 'Solo.' [This year, your listening time has greatly increased. You no longer need to cater to anyone else's taste. Every song is a song you sing for yourself.] I smiled and shared it on my social media. My best friend liked it instantly.

Divorced, Now Watch Me Rise!

Divorced, Now Watch Me Rise!

Julian looked at me across the table, his gray eyes thoughtful. "Parts of it," he admitted. "The freedom to travel whenever I wanted. Not having to think about Ethan or my father or any of the Cross family drama." He paused, swirling the wine in his glass. "But other parts?" he continued. "No. I don't miss those at all." "Which parts don't you miss?" I asked quietly. Julian held my gaze. "The loneliness," he said simply. "Always being alone, even when I was surrounded by people. Coming back to empty apartments in different cities, having no one to share things with."

All The Wrong Places

All The Wrong Places

“I know this is a lot to take. You guys may think that I just threw away my bright future. But… I’m gonna take care of this baby. No matter what Dad or Mom says, I’m going to do this.” “That son of a bitch is going to pay for leaving you to do this on your own!” Gian said between gritted teeth. “I’m going to beat him black and blue. If only you tell me his name!” Julianne rolled her eyes. “Now that you say that… there is absolutely no way you’re going to find out!” She looked at them pleadingly. “Look guys. I know you’re mad and you’re putting the blame on him. But did it ever occur to you that I just met a great guy, had a wonderful week in Paris? We fell in love and decided to part ways… d

This is the 4th book by this author I have read. Once again it's an amazing book. Another great love story. I definitely recommend it. I do wish the author had a better editing process to make their books even better. There are grammar errors and spelling errors. I look forward to the next book.

All praise to you dear author. This is the 3rd novel I read among your books. It was brilliant that you connected one of your novels and mentioned Astrid Van Woolsen. Loved it. I love how you portray the women in your books. They may be vulnerable yet strong, Beauty brains and good sense of humor

Falling for the CEO Who Ruined My Best Friend

“Yoooo, you wanna blow up my cover?! She said immediately. “You should have texted at least” “I was busy tryna pamper your woman,” she scoffed. “So how's she” “Far better than you, although she gave off a little melancholy vibe. But she's good, we ate Anna's meal together” “And did she say a word about me” “Nah, all she did was reply to the words I said about you” “And what were they” “I'm driving for goodness sake leave me alone” julie said before hanging up the call. I tapped my feet uncontrollably as I called in back after thirty minutes, the call rang out but I got no reply.

THE EX-WIFE MAKES A COMEBACK

THE EX-WIFE MAKES A COMEBACK

"July 2022: Subject discovered plane tickets in husband's jacket pocket during laundry, 2:17 PM. Tickets to Paris, two passengers, departure date August 3rd. Noted distress—subject sat on laundry room floor for approximately twelve minutes. Did not confront husband." I remembered that day with painful vividness. Finding those tickets hidden in the inner pocket of Julian's navy blazer. Two seats, Juian Hart and Serena Vale. I'd never been to Paris. Julian had always said it was overrated, that we should travel somewhere more original. But he was taking her. I'd stood there holding those tickets, my hands shaking, my vision blurring with tears I refused to let fall. Then I'd sat down on the co

Two worlds that collide

Two worlds that collide

In that moment of freedom, Vivienne looked at her own reflection and saw a flicker of the girl who had danced in the dark. Just a few more weeks, she thought, her heart beat steady and rhythmic. Just a few more weeks of playing the angel, and then I’m going to show you what a ghost can do. "Everything okay?" Julian asked, tucking his phone away. "Everything is perfect," Vivienne said, stepping out into the bright, American afternoon. "I’ve never felt more sure about my future." Julian smiled, leading her toward the armored SUV. He thought he was taking her home. He didn't realize she was already halfway to the hills.

Betrothed (Book #6 in the Vampire Journals)

Caitlin flew through the night, flying faster than she ever had, using her wings to try to gain maximum speed, as she flew alone in the darkness. The night sky was filled with stars, and the rural landscape of England lay far beneath her. She felt so alone. After having flown so much recently with large groups of people—Caleb, Scarlet, Ruth, Sam, Polly, Lily and Aiden's coven members—now, she felt the loneliness. She felt as if she were traveling a path meant only for only her to travel, deep into the universe.

The Flawed Breeding Manual of the Renegade Omega

The Flawed Breeding Manual of the Renegade Omega

“Julie, please! We'll figure something out together! I... I...” The words got stuck in my throat. “I'm losing everyone!” I confessed, crying. “First Matthew... Roland... Edward, then Marilyn... now you? I can't take it anymore... I... I'm going to be alone again. My voice faltered. My knees wanted to give way. The forest spun around me. But Julie... Julie was firm, determined. She pulled me close and hugged me tightly. “Look at me,” she said, and I obeyed. "You'll never be alone. Even if I die... even if we all die... our wolves will be with you. We love you, Michelle. And you... you have to live for us.''

Once His Wallflower, Now His Biggest Mistake

Once His Wallflower, Now His Biggest Mistake

I said. Julian studied me carefully. “Good.” He leaned back, eyes dark. “Because mourning is for losses. And losing Caleb Knight is not a tragedy.” The city lights blurred past the window as the Phantom surged forward, smooth and unstoppable. I watched my reflection in the glass, pale, wet, stripped bare of illusions. Not broken. Never broken. Just… done pretending. Julian reached over and snapped his fingers. The partition slid down. “Hotel?” the driver asked. “No,” Julian said. “Penthouse.”
