Freya/Freddie's pov I’m sitting in the locker room, staring at my phone’s black screen, trying to wrap my head around what just happened on the ice. I passed their test, actually pulled it off, and the reality of it hasn’t sunk in yet. The adrenaline’s fading now, leaving me shaky, exhausted, and aching all over, but it’s the kind of pain that feels good, the kind that tells me I pushed myself to the limit and came out stronger.

Wind rushed past her as the engine growled beneath her seat, and for the first time in her life, she felt completely free. She had loved bikes since she was a little girl. Owning one had always been her dream. Now that the dream had finally come true, Freya could not contain her happiness. She wanted to take a quick ride around town, but her phone rang before she could even make it halfway down the street. It was a call from her brother. She answered through her helmet. “Firefly, where are you?” Freya groaned. Her brother called her Firefly. According to him, it was because she had always been full of energy and running everywhere like a tiny ball of chaos.

She should be thanking them rather than being an ingrate. If it weren't for the billions she would be getting, she would not have supported the union in the first place. "I had him first! I have videos! I can sink him!" Frederick let out a low laugh, a sound that made the hair on the back of Luke’s neck stand up. He took one step closer, standing in front of his younger brother. "Videos?" Frederick tilted his head, his gaze promising a torture that would leave no physical scars, but permanent trauma. "Do you think I care about your little home porno, Rusty? I’ve erased entire servers of government agencies for fun. If those videos see the light of day, you’ll be the one disappearing in a block of concrete at the harbor for dishonoring Dad’s name."

Back in the day, he’d rebelled against his parent’s wishes, smoked far too much weed, and somehow ten years of his life slipped away. Now, at twenty-eight, Freddy was pulling his life together. Not only was he almost finished with his Bachelor of Science at the community college, but he’d also cut back on the weed and booze so he could help more at The Grind.

Another claw ripped off its head from the body and threw them both into the hot coals. It snarled and looked down at the Sleeping Beauty. He had already smoked three sticks and was on to the fourth one. He was beyond frustrated. The past three days felt like hell for him on his own ship. He had lost five million dollars because of a stupid fight. A very stupid fight. That anger almost made him throw those two men overboard too. But he needed them. He was short of men so he couldn't afford to loose two more.

He banged his hand on the table before pointing his index finger angrily at Travis. "You guys... You and your dumb friend started it" he said, gritting his teeth. You killed George damn it. You killed him for nothing. He didn't do anything to Hurt you and yet you fucking killed him just because he was a vampire.... You and your friend deserve something even worse than death for doing that to that innocent kid."

"Where are we going to meet with them?" I lean forward, wishing we can just fly over there and rescue my baby. If anything happens to my baby, the whole family of the person involved will pay for it.

I spoke softly. “I’m glad that everyone is gathered here, as I finally unveil my first collection, one I hold dear to my heart and I hope my children will respect and understand as they grow older.” I turned to where the name of the collection had been hidden, it was Tyler’s idea to give it a name in this manner, I glanced at him and he beamed with pride. “Meet,” my voice cracked for the millionth time.
