Pol stumbled at the re-crossing—she caught his arm and kept him upright and kept them moving. Second: the false trail. She had found this section of the route on the planning walk specifically—a rocky outcrop that would take her prints for thirty feet before the undergrowth resumed. She moved across it, kept Yena and Pol on it, angled hard west for twenty steps before doubling back east. Anyone following the trail would take the western angle and have to recover.

Return of the Abandoned Wife

Return of the Abandoned Wife

--- Adrian’s expression hardened. --- “And now?” --- Elena looked ahead. --- At the path forming in front of them. --- At the signal pulling her forward. --- “Now I’m not so sure.” --- They moved. --- Slowly. --- Cautiously. --- Following the path. --- Because there was no other choice. --- The system didn’t interfere. --- Didn’t attack. --- Didn’t react. --- Because this— --- Was something else. --- Something outside its control. --- Or something it wanted her to see.

CROSSED PATHS

CROSSED PATHS

He said and intertwined our fingers together, swinging our hands as we walked. "So… where exactly are we going to?" I asked. "Nowhere, we're just going on a walk." "A walk?" I asked since uty sounded kind of fremd to me. "Yes, a walk." We were walking in the dark night, walking on the pavement and the red night lights were enough to make the place we were in seem more beautiful. The environment was nice and really soothing. "Let's take a picture together." Nathan suggested. "A picture?" "Yes, we don't have a picture of each other so I feel we should take a lot of pictures in this place, right now."

Mated To My Lycan Stepbrothers

“What?” “I can feel Zane,” I said. “Barely, but it’s him. It’s like… like a string pulling at my chest.” “Can you follow it?” she asked quickly. “I think so.” Without thinking, I started moving. I didn’t know where I was going, but I let the pull guide me like a thread through a dark forest. We left the path, pushing past trees and shrubs. Lila kept pace beside me, not asking questions anymore. Just trust me.

Recognition, not readiness. She’s moving. And she doesn’t need to explain it. Eden crossed the pulse arc. Not urgent. Not distant. She didn’t trace a path. She moved as though her path would form underfoot. And it did. The system registered her relocation in real time: :: USER E. VALE – ZONE TRANSFER INITIATED :: PATH PROJECTED AHEAD OF BODY :: COMMENT: SYSTEM RESPONDING TO UNANNOUNCED TRAJECTORY WITH ADAPTIVE STRUCTURAL PREPARATION.

“Yeah, I know. Just tell me where to go.” “Alright,” Petrov said. I could hear the faint clicking of keys in the background, probably him switching between feeds. “About twenty meters ahead, there’s a narrow path between the containers. Follow that. It opens into a clearing on your right. That’s where you need to be. Move slow, and stay sharp.” I nodded instinctively, though he couldn’t see it. “Got it.”

My Possessive CEO (Can love conquer pain?)

Then— “Explain.” I stare at both paths. Feeling. Listening. The left path— cold. Empty. Calculated. The right— unstable. Chaotic. Alive. “It wants to see what I choose,” I whisper. “Order or chaos.” “And?” I take a step. Not left. Not right. Forward. Straight between them. The space resists immediately. Violent. Pushing back. “Invalid path,” the whisper echoes. “Good,” I reply. Energy surges through me.

The Heavenly Menace: My System Won't Stop Making Me a Legend

Instead I adjust my path — slight curve north, then a cut east, using the Crimson Fang Steps footwork I picked up from a System mission reward two weeks ago to minimize my Ki signature on the ground. The tracking radius pauses. Shifts. Recalibrates. Smart beast. I keep moving. The ruin announces itself through temperature first. The forest is cool. Then suddenly it's colder — the specific cold of old stone that hasn't seen sun in a very long time. I push through a dense cluster of undergrowth and find it.

Called by the Dragon

Called by the Dragon

“The market is still crowded. It’ll be better if you wait until closer to the evening to explore the wares.” “That’s fine.” It had been quiet between them ever since Anzi led Kaizat away from the training grounds half an hour ago. Since then, they had been walking along the wide, smooth stone path that followed the circular Annat River and bordered the inner edge of the upper districts. Now they approached a divide in the river, as well as in the path. One way would continue leading them around, and the other would take them deeper into the city districts. When they reached the fork, she came to a halt. “What would you like to see in the meantime, sir.”

The plot is thrilling from the start and I had to pace myself to avoid reading through the night. I often wanted to dive into the characters' minds myself to punch some sense into them, proof of how perfectly Mana designed them. This book deserves a thousand stars, not the mere five GN allows.

That was one epic adventure. The world was rich, detailed, full of amazing characters, and the story drew me in its tight grip and never let me go. I am a true fan of this author, it's characters, and it's story line. This was a true experience.
