Meeting Again

Meeting Again

She pulled off her heels for ease as she ran after him. Trevor was bent on his course and did not notice an anomaly. He rounded a corner and halted. Nicole swarm in from behind with her angelic gown. She almost bumped into him but she drew back at the last moment. Soon, the sound of heels and sobs permeated the air. Trevor made hurried steps towards the approaching figure. He closed the distance between them and drew whoever it was into his embrace. He cleaned up her tears with a quick swipe of his thumbs over her face.

Crossing Lines

Crossing Lines

“Are you guys official? Like—official-official?” “We live together,” I said before I could stop myself. Her jaw dropped. “You what?” “I wasn’t hiding it,” I added quickly. “It’s just a lot. But it’s good. Really good.” She whistled. “Lana Reyes. The main character. And the plot twist. Nathan Cross in love? Living together? This is full prestige drama energy.” I laughed. Actually laughed. For a moment, the pressure lifted—like sunshine through fog. But the second we stepped outside, it returned.

Obsession of the King: A Luna’s Revenge

Obsession of the King: A Luna’s Revenge

Sebastian ended up crossing first, our hands slipped from each other. It was the Grand Border. That familiar line I crossed that opened the path to the new life I have now. I looked up at Sebastian who was waiting on the other side. He reached and offered his hand to me silently, without words. My eyes moved from his hand to his face. I saw those same bloody red eyes staring at me. Like the first night our gazes met. He smiled at me. I smiled back at him. I could hear our hearts beating the same rhythm.

So far this book deserves way more than 5 stars. The Female lead is multi faceted, tough and intelligent. The male lead is top tier. Their chemistry is off the charts and the story itself is interesting with appropriately paced plot development. It's hard to find books this good on this app.

Best part of the story is the great villain because her stepmother is evil and smart effective and not like other shallow villain. It's like she is the same with Veronica. Their relationship is deep. Her revenge plans are justified. The main focus is her but the curse of Sebastian is intriguing also

Her Unexpected Alpha

Her Unexpected Alpha

Since our paths crossed , rekindling memories and emotions that have been trying to keep at length for so long I tried to avoid Derrick. My heart raced as I unexpectedly crossed paths with ex-boyfriend, Derrick , in the bustling coffee shop. Our eyes locked, and a mix of emotions flooded over me. Memories of our time together, both the joyful and the painful, rushed back like a tidal wave. My hands trembled as I clutched my coffee cup, unsure of how to proceed. Taking a deep breath, I decided to break the tense silence. "Derrick ," I said, my voice a bit shaky but determined, "it's been a while."

When we crossed the line

When we crossed the line

I responded with a glare. The shorter staff cleared his throat. "If you'll both kindly show us your key cards, we can straighten this out." "gladly," I huffed, shoving mine forward. Mr. Smug did the same, sliding his out with infuriating calm. the staff scanned both cards, their brows furrowing. My stomach churned. Finally, the shorter one looked up nervously. "There's been a double booking. Both of you are registered to this suite." I blinked. "You've got to be kidding me."

Reborn to Walk Separate Paths

Reborn to Walk Separate Paths

"Reborn? I have no idea what you're talking about," I said. My eyes darted around, and the cramped space inside the elevator was making it hard to breathe. Maxwell's smile turned creepy. The second the doors on the ground floor opened, I bolted. While lying in bed that night, I couldn't stop thinking about what he'd said. I wondered if he also had been reborn. I woke up the next morning with a splitting headache. Standing at the floor-to-ceiling windows in my office, I spotted Maxwell chatting with a female employee at the coffee shop downstairs. Even from behind, I recognized her immediately—Angelica.

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN

"No, the question is, who amongst the two will last until I go back?" 'No,' she thought. 'The real question is, who amongst us three will last until my time is up?' She was in the city. The city is wide yet not. There are different ways and different times they can coincidentally see each other. As she thought of crossing with him again, something flashed in her mind, but she swiftly pushed it far back in her mind. I hope we will not see each other's shadows. —

The best part of your story is Characterization and language❤. The plot twist is amazing, For a moment a/f 1st chapter I thought she will find another nicest man, but you changed the entire scenario. So unimaginable twist. I hated Tyler in 1st chapter, but now chapters later I kind of love him.

it's a cute story, only the jumping around time frame can get a little confusing. I think a note at the top of each chapter that mentions *present* or *flashback ___ years* would be beneficial for the reader. Other than that. I really like the story and am looking forward to updates:)

The North Star

The North Star

She smiled at him as she squeezed his hand. He smiled back at her and nodded for her to lead the way. The jungle opened up to them as they moved further into it. Danica could see that the ground and leaves were wet from where the ocean water had flooded out of the cave. She couldn't believe it had reached this far and then just disappeared. This place was so strange. The path opened up and she could tell they were at the cross point of the old path that Kaleb had originally found and the path that she had found. The jungle’s trees and vines moved for them to decide. “This way.” Danica said confidently as she picked the path that she found.

Frequently Asked Questions

I've always been fascinated by stories where first loves reunite, and whether the spark can truly reignite after time apart. There's this novel I read called 'One Day' that explores this beautifully—it follows two people over decades, with all the missed connections and what-ifs. Sometimes life pulls people apart before they're ready, and when they circle back, it feels like destiny. But other times, nostalgia tints the memory brighter than the reality. I think it depends on whether both have grown in ways that still align. My friend reconnected with her high school sweetheart after 15 years, and they just celebrated their third anniversary. Then again, another buddy tried it and realized they were clinging to a ghost of the past.

Real-life reunions are messy and human, not like the montages in 'The Notebook.' The magic isn't in picking up where you left off—it's in building something new with the history between you. When it works, there's this profound depth to it, like finding a book you loved as a kid and discovering new layers as an adult. But it requires honesty about who you've both become, not just who you remember each other being.
