He takes me to the female gynecologist only as he doesn't want any male to touch me. Don't know what he will do during the delivery. "It was food poisoning," she told us. "What! I splashed water on my face. I wiped off my face with the towel and paced out of the bathroom. Dii offered me lemon water instantly. I clutched the glass and the scene occurred a few months ago, reverberating in my mind. I don’t remember exactly when this happened. I stressed my mind, taking a sip of lemon water. “Yes,” I mumbled. “I threw out like today, on that day, the sabzi was Paneer Tikka,” My mind raced with mine. “But the doctor told us, it was food poisoning, then why now?” I was in my thoughts.

Every time I thought it was over—every time I dared to hope—I was slammed back into agony—a savage cycle of pain and humiliation. The stench was unbearable. The air was thick with it. My own sickness clung to every surface, every breath. My vision blurred, the edges of the world going dark. The 'poison' in that cursed food was wreaking havoc. I'd read about poisoning before and even used the method myself. Sickness, diarrhea, palpitations, and organs failing, causing body pain and exhaustion. Check, Check, Check.
