I looked at Selene with love and affection as if she was something meant to be protected. Then, when I thought I might truly fade the door opened again but it was softer this time letting me know it wasn't Alpha Kael. I blinked to be sure I wasn't hallucinating again, but she actually was here. “Mira?” My voice is barely audible. She rushed to embrace me. “Gods, Lyra,” she gasped as the horror showed on her face. “You look like a corpse.” I tried to smile but it cracked my lip open. She knelt beside me, yellow skirts brushing the grime and dirt “I bribed every damn guard with coins, jewelry and my favorite scarf.”

Leia was already waiting at the entrance when Timothy, Hazel, and Lynn arrived at her school. She ran over as soon as she saw Timothy’s car. Subconsciously, she already blocked the teasing of the warriors and focused herself on the mission. ‘She is not really aware that I am teasing her on purpose and making herself believe that I have no interest in her.’ I thought to myself. ‘She is really not aware that my eyes have not left her figure from the moment we arrived here.’
