He puts me softly on the the chair I had been tied to when I woke up. "What do you want to try first?" he asks pointing at the food. "I am not eating," I say. "You can't live without eating," he says, looking at the display. He decides to feed me when it becomes clear that I wasn't joking about not eating. I refuse to open my mouth. He pulls it open with the hand that is not holding the spoon. He then puts the food in my mouth forcefully. I try to throw it out but he closes my mouth and forces me to chew. "You're looking thin, I am just trying to look out for you," he says, taking his hands off when I finally swallow.

I feel a splash of water on my face and my eyes open instantly. “Luna, it's time to eat.” The man keeps a plate on my lap and I try to hold my barf. “I’m not eating this, it stinks!” He rolls his eyes and cracks his muscular arms. “Tough look Luna, you don’t have a choice.” Next thing I know, I’m being held against my will and food is forced down my throat. I try to push him away to throw up but he covers my mouth. “Not happening, I was instructed to keep you fed !”

At that point, I was genuinely one bite away from death. But instead of saying that, I forced another smile. “I’m fine.” “Oh!” she gasped suddenly like she had another brilliant idea. “I’ll feed you instead.” Before I could refuse, she scooped another huge spoonful of food and shoved it directly toward my mouth. I almost choked. The amount of rice she forced into my mouth was ridiculous. My cheeks puffed instantly while I struggled to chew and breathe at the same time. Cassia blinked innocently. “You’re not swallowing,” she pointed out suspiciously. “Is the food bad?”

I forced a smile and took another bite, trying to shake off the annoying taste but focus on the hard work spent to achieve it. “Eat up.” He added more side dishes and forced me to eat them. Not to be mean, but everything he made tasted terrible. As I forced myself to eat them, he kept rambling on how he almost went crazy trying to find the perfect meal and how he didn’t want to disappoint me. His stories were a strong enough driving force to push me to finish the meal. When I had the last bite of the pancake, I took a gulp of water, glad the water didn’t contain anything annoying.
