After the liquid torture was done and she finally let go of my chin, I fell on all fours and spat out what little was left in my mouth. I heaved and coughed harshly, with Adam doing the same beside me.

He grabbed the back of my neck and violently slammed my face down toward the silver tray of food. “Now eat,” he ordered. My hands trembled so much that I couldn't even grip the spoon. Knox hissed, seeing my struggle and slapping the utensil out of my hand before shoving my face directly into the food. “Eat everything!” I choked down the food, forcing it past my throat until my stomach was full to the point of aching. I blinked up at him, silently begging for mercy, but he just stood over me, telling me to eat more. My body finally rejected it as I violently gagged, vomiting back onto the floor.

He puts me softly on the the chair I had been tied to when I woke up. "What do you want to try first?" he asks pointing at the food. "I am not eating," I say. "You can't live without eating," he says, looking at the display. He decides to feed me when it becomes clear that I wasn't joking about not eating. I refuse to open my mouth. He pulls it open with the hand that is not holding the spoon. He then puts the food in my mouth forcefully. I try to throw it out but he closes my mouth and forces me to chew. "You're looking thin, I am just trying to look out for you," he says, taking his hands off when I finally swallow.
