Rowan gurgled, entirely unbothered.
Morwen, passing through with a tray of herbs, paused. “First blowout?” she asked dryly.
“Blowout,” I repeated, dazed.
She smirked. “Good luck, Alpha Daddy.”
I glared at her, then took a steadying breath and set to work.
It shouldn’t have been that hard. Remove the soiled garment. Wipe. Replace.
Except Rowan kicked at the worst possible moment. The wipe missed. The diaper folded in on itself. My big hands fumbled with the tiny adhesive tabs. Somehow, there was more on them than on the actual child.
