Forest Demon Novels & Stories

Ares turned away from her with a sigh as he looked up to the sky. “Because he tried to kill me. My father…. He tried his best to free me from the demon inside me but there was nothing he could do about the demon and it was getting worse and worse everyday. I would wake up and find myself in a pool of blood with dead animals around me or sometimes, some dead wolves or humans. After that, my father locked me up in a room that no matter what, I couldn't escape till one day, he told me he found a solution" Myla raised an eyebrow.

But hopefully, this would just be the standard, run-of-the-mill, confused rogue. We followed the scent to a rocky hill that turned into a mountain, continuing up some rugged terrain. We dug our sharp claws into the stone, making our way up quickly and efficiently, stopping at a plateau partway up. Resting on the ledge, looking over the forested land, was a she-wolf with thick, dark-brown fur and icy-blue eyes. The three of us instantly surrounded her as she got up onto her four legs, turning to face us. She slowly moved her head, making eye contact with each of us one by one, her face emotionless.

Taking my shirt off partially, I jabbed my nails into the top of my spine, pulling out my sword, Slayer Rhakis and summoned the portal to edge of The Demon Realm. Stepping inside, my senses were clear, smelling the first wave of demons a few miles away into hell. I waited patiently, pacing back and fourth and focusing my ears on Hunnie and Kris as I leaned against the cold and icy, black flesh of a pillar. The Realm's bridge was as wide and long as a football field and made up of squirming flesh. All around the bridge was pitch black, the only light coming from the glowing floor of flesh under my feet and the demons portal from Hell.

The once serene forest now exuded an eerie aura, its air thick with a repugnant odor that clung to the surroundings. Once teeming with vibrant life, the forest now wore a somber cloak as the severed heads of the beastmen were displayed, casting a shadow over the once verdant landscape. The grotesque expressions etched on these decapitated heads only intensified the spine-chilling atmosphere, leaving no room for reverence or decency. Kriff's eyes widened in disbelief as he gazed upon the young man before him. Despite his innocent countenance, he was a demon masquerading as a human, his true nature concealed beneath a deceptive facade.

The sound of dozens of horses hitting the ground broke the silence. "They're the undead?!" Dewi Sari Kencana was shocked. "I sense that there is a demonic spirit residing around this forest. Search and confirm if he is here! Hurry!" The undead general shouted and ordered his troops to search the corners of the forest.

The ground trembled with the heavy footsteps approaching them. DUUMM! DUUMM! DUUMM! Each heavy step felt like a giant hammer striking the earth. The trees shook. Night birds flew away in fear. Raven slowly turned his head. He sensed the presence of a powerful creature. And his face immediately paled. From within the forest emerged a giant monster. It pushed trees, causing their trunks to shift. It was nearly four meters tall. Its body was covered in scars, and it stood, its eyes bloodshot. Its teeth were bared, and its left eye was blind. However, the aura it radiated was far more terrifying than any Shadow Wolf before it.

The journey to her cottage took them along winding roads flanked by towering trees, their branches reaching out like ancient sentinels guarding the secrets of the wilderness. From the confines of his car, Damon observed Aqua's quaint abode—a small cottage nestled at the edge of town. The cottage stood as a solitary figure amidst a lush landscape, surrounded by a canopy of ancient trees that seemed to whisper secrets in the wind. Its timeworn exterior, adorned with ivy and climbing roses, exuded a rustic charm that spoke of simpler times.

The determination in her eyes was met with an unreadable expression from the god, his face a mask of stoic serenity. They broke through the clouds, and Esteria's breath caught in her throat once more. Below them spread a city unlike any she had ever seen. The Demon City, nestled in a vast, verdant valley, was a marvel of architecture and nature intertwined. Towers and spires of obsidian and dark stone rose gracefully, their surfaces glistening like polished onyx. Rivers of molten lava flowed through the city like veins of fire, casting a warm, ethereal glow.

From. My breath fogs up in the air. Something primal kicks in. I grab my bat from under the porch steps. Splinters jab into my palm, but I don’t care. I’ve had enough. I’ve lost too many vegetables to whatever demon lives out here, and I will throw hands with Satan himself if whatever it is steps on another tomato. I had enough on my plate today. Lightning slices the sky. The entire forest lights up for a second like a flashbulb on a crime scene photo. I see movement, deep in the trees. A silhouette.

Azazel yelled. Just then Daniel saw two lower level demons carrying a thin, frail woman. Her skin was translucent and gray. Her bones were clearly visible under her nightgown. They carried her over to Azazel and threw her down at Daniel's feet. Daniel knew, before she even looked up at him, that this was his Elizabeth or what she had been reduced too.
