Saving my broken Girl

Saving my broken Girl

he said in a playful tone, but me, being me, takes it as offences “I’m not a person at all, so stop the small talk and take me home.” “Listen, Emily, whatever shit life you had before, fucking deal with it, you’re not lost and you still have people who care about you,” he declared openly with an annoying attitude. “Care about me? Are you actually joking with me now? You never had to jump from one home to another, praying that your next home will be better than the previous one, or where you would at least be treated as a “person” You never had to fucking live on the streets, so if you want to use the word care, make sure you know what it means because guess what? I had 4 families who thought

Because You're Mine

Because You're Mine

“I can respect that, well its almost three in the morning and were supposed to be heading out of here soon so I guess the least I can do is let you get paid for your time since I won’t be needing your services.” “Sounds like a win to me. We don’t usually get too many VIP’s around here what’s your line of work.” “Well, I and my sister and brother over there run a foster home and a community outreach program for foster kids in the community. We provide daily check ins for kids, food, clothing and extracurricular activities and events that allow the kids to be active and feel protected. We even set up internships for kids that age out to work for our sponsor who provides them with affordable ho

Rex (Book 5)

Rex (Book 5)

But we were separated to different foster homes because I was too young to raise my siblings, and Effie couldn't live with our aunt in the Philippines because of her tantrums. I lived with a lovely old couple, John and Addy Ferguson. They are around their seventies, and their children already have their own life. They feel lonely sometimes. So when social services planted me in Ferguson's home, they welcomed me with open arms. I was skeptical at first because the Fergusons are strangers to me, and I learned from too many dramas that living in foster homes can be scary. They tried to open up to me by being kind and gentle, but I still didn't trust them. Over sometimes, while doubting they wer

Logan (Book 1)

Logan (Book 1)

Twelve years ago at The Brayden's Home - Foster Home. "Haha," Kenny laughed, pointing a finger at me. "You are a nobody and were left here. Nobody wants you." I hugged my legs, hiding behind the house of The Brayden, owned by George and Maggie Brayden. They were friendly, but the way they greeted me felt like those weirdo parents who kept their children sanitized from everything they touched. George was no muscle but short and tubby-like a gnome with a Super Mario mustache, and Maggie wore heavy make-up looking like 99 cents cheap doll. They were friendly, but I felt uncomfortable talking to them. Since I arrived without Ares and Athena because they were sent to different homes, I was scared

Lone Wolf

Lone Wolf

For the last 2 years I’ve managed to stay in the same house, but it’s been… Challenging… I’m the oldest of 3 foster kids, which means I’m the one who gets the most shit from Florence and Winston or as we call them ‘jerks who just want the money’. They are two of the most uncaring and pompous assholes I’ve ever come across. They didn’t have the room to take me in when they did so they transformed a small storage room under the stairs to the attic for me to stay in, I guess they were fans of Harry Potter, and all because they wanted the extra money that came with taking me in. They knew I was old enough to take care of myself and I guess it was a win-win in their eyes.

Alex asked, her eyes sparkling with expectation "I am sorry Alex, you can't, I can't even contact your father, he doesn't have a phone, and you can't stay with me am bearly at home, and neither can you live at the academy's lodge because it won't even be allowed, there is only one option left, I would register you for a foster home or take you to an orphanage," Ben said as he dropped the words and it fell like bomb Alex face fell, this wasn't what she wanted to hear, neither was it anywhere what I hoped for her to hear but then...

Others hear it faintly. “I remember now. This was Zhatiera. This was her home.” “And that was our grandparents?” Ariadne whisper. “Foster. We’re not blood related remember?” Ambrose interrupt. Ariadne turns to him with annoyed look. “Shut up.” She gritted form her teeth.

Twisted Game: My Stepbrother is my bully

Twisted Game: My Stepbrother is my bully

"The girl is crazy. She always tried throwing herself at me. I told her no, you're a child. It's wrong. She would force herself onto me, trying to kiss me. I'd have no choice but to gently push her away. Something is very wrong with that little girl. She just needs the proper care at home, I believe. My wife and I tried giving her that, but I think she would be better in an all girls home. I don't want to press charges and I do hope you find her soon. The poor girl just needs some love in her life. She doesn't understand that wanting older men is wrong -" "She was a whore," my ex foster mother snarled into the camera. "Helen," I foster father warned her, but even I could hear that little war

Wet for my Mafia Daddy

Wet for my Mafia Daddy

Oisha Das
“Guys. Breakfast is ready. Hurry up now.” While the 12 year old Lyla, 6 year old twins Daisy and Michael ate their breakfast, I fed the 2 year old toddler Theo his meal and remained starved myself for another morning. We are all living in this foster home together under the care of Hector and Selena Brooks. Well... Not exactly care because they don’t care about anything else than the money they get from fostering us.

Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

“We don’t want to keep anyone in these awful camps. We want to bring them into the city and are going to be asking for volunteers to host different families.” Isabel’s eyes narrow again, and I know she sees where this is heading. “I grew up as an orphan, Isabel.” I state abruptly, changing tactics. “I was in a group home with a lot of problems. But even before things got bad, I can tell you that I spent my entire childhood wishing for a family of my own. These pups need someone like you to care for and look out for them, but there are a lot of families with love to give, a lot of parents who have lost their own children. I think the best thing we can do for them is to place them with fosters

I love this book! I hate that chapters are barely two pages and at this rate I’m probably not going to see the end. For the cost at this rate I could have bought quite a number in physical form. As I have so far spent just under of $100 this is most likely my last Good Novel purchase.
