Third person pov Later that night in Naomi’s bedroom, Harper stood near the window, arms wrapped around herself and her fingers twitching nervously against the hem of her oversized sweater as she stared out at the dark sky above. The glass reflected her face back at her—pale, eyes too bright, shoulders pulled tight as if she were bracing for impact. Naomi watched her from the bed, legs crossed, phone forgotten in her hand. “You’ve been pacing for ten minutes,” she said gently. “If you’re trying to wear a hole in the carpet, congratulations. Mission accomplished.”

Third Person POV. She writhed and sobbed in pain as she received each penetration. She felt like her world was over, a thought came into mind and she gently remove the criminal's face. Because he was engrossed in his affair, he didn't know the girl has seen his face. The other one saw this action of hers but didn't give her out, but rather urged him to hurry up before they get caught.

'He wasn't your mate, Alvara. We ran close to the road but still far enough out of sight that humans won't get too suspicious. From what I could gather, the four men shared an internal link with each other. Ciaran would get a vacant look within his eyes every now and again, driving Ozias to run in front of him, just in case he couldn't fully understand what was happening outside of his body.

With one final grimace in my direction, Rowan wrapped his arm around her shoulders and swept her out of the building. My head was already hurting, and it had nothing to do with the rising din of voices around me.
