Then, a dark blur shoots across my vision like a cannonball. A terrifying roar breaks from his throat as Damon’s human form completely dissolves mid-air, his body shifting with a violent surge of silver light until a huge, midnight-black wolf slams directly into the Reaper’s side.

We laughed over that too. Damon was practically obsessed with Japanese culture and while I was really slow in reading the subtitles, he didn't hesitate to explain what was going on. And yes, we hadn't kissed but these past few weeks had been the best of it in my life. A part of me didn't want to get healed completely just yet, I wanted to stay with him for as long as possible.
