Alpha for Christmas Livia's POV “Is this the place?” He asked warmly while curbing the car to a corner. “Yes, it is.” I exhaled heavily in relief. The ride was smooth and quiet, and stealing a look at the environment from the car, the place had changed a lot. I was thinking my parents would never renovate the family duplex but they did a good job in it - who knew if it was because it was Christmas and I would be coming over with a guest?

My wolf moves around inside me itching to get out. They begin to run like they’re running for their lives. I chuckle. Roxy turns and smiles. “Eager as beavers, right?” I nod as I go to the front of the property where there are spare coats hanging and grab her an orange puffa with a faux fur trimmed hood.

They reached Tara’s car, and as soon as they got in, Tara squeezed Melody’s hand. As she got into the car, she made a silent prayer, she didn't believe in Christmas no more, but she was hoping for a Christmas miracle. The twelve days of Christmas song was blasting in the car. Tradition dictates that the best way to approach the Holiday Festival is to do a lap of everything first, so you can see it all, and then go back and check out the stalls and tables that interested you the most.

Before I could respond, headlights swept across the front windows. Silence immediately filled the room. My father straightened. My mother smoothed her hair. And somehow my own pulse became deafening. A car door shut outside. Then another. The front gate clicked softly in the distance. For one insane second, I actually considered running. The knock came three beats later. My father practically rushed to open it. Cold winter air flooded the foyer first. “Merry Christmas,” he said warmly as he stepped inside, snow melting slowly from the shoulders of his dark coat.

"If you don't dare overstep, then shut your mouth." I cut off her false innocence without mercy. "Your Majesty." I turned toward the Fox King seated high upon the throne and gave him a shallow bow. "I, Sienna Spruance, wish to form a bond with His Highness Julian Frost. I ask the Fox King to grant it." The moment I said that, the entire hall fell silent. The Fox King froze, clearly not expecting me to decide so quickly. Sylvia panicked first. She grabbed my sleeve. "Sienna! His Highness is a four-tailed white fox. How can you choose him?"

Lily tried to lighten the mood, “that’s why we’re doing a party. To show everyone you’re still the same and hopefully they can meet your wolves and see they’re a great addition. Osiris is just thinking about worse case scenario’s, but we want you to enjoy this as much as you can.” Osiris nodded, “just trying to prepare you, just in case. I should have known something was wrong the moment I heard Lucian shout, “Where did all this glitter come from.” Glitter was never a good sign. Glitter meant festivities. Festivities meant decorations. Decorations meant Christmas. And Christmas meant the pack was about to commit crimes against interior design. The foyer of the packhouse already looked like a battle between color schemes.
