Agatha rushed to place her hands-on Kira’s shoulders to prevent her from rising up out of the coffin while she shouted to Tim and Edwin, “Ye men need to stand back now. She is a vampire who has been without blood for several centuries. I must have a chance to be with her before she sees ye.”

He shakes his head again. "Now I allow my voice to change, to deepen, to resonate with the fullness of my incredibly long life. The effect on him is pronounced; he shakes visibly, as if he is suddenly aware that he is sitting next to a monster. But I am not just any monster. I am a vampire, and in many ways, for his sake, that may be the worst monster of all.

Her husband was a vampire, and they have a child who's a dhampir. "We will visit our son," I answered while Runo bowed at her. This was Runo's first time meeting these people since she barely left the apartment. "Ah, is that so? Here. Give this to your son," Miss Tenny said, giving us some freshly picked flowers from her mini garden. "Sorry, those are just regular flowers, nothing special, and I just picked them from my garden," Miss Tenny apologized, but Runo shook her head and thanked the woman with teary eyes.

I frown. Then my pulse rises. “So, I’m dead? And this is punishment before I ascend to Heaven?” Sin’s beautiful face scrunches. “No. No, you are not dead, November. Stop thinking that, it drives me crazy. Just listen to me.” He pants. “Ghouls, the things that attacked the mansion the other day. I created them during my first attempt in creating life. Then came the Fairies. They were nothing like humans, so I continued. Then came the Minotaur, then Trolls, then the Goblins, and then, Djinn, the Centaur, Cyclopes, Ogre, then the hilarious looking ones, the Leprechauns.”

Sylvie, who remained calm throughout the ordeal, asked, "That's it? Don't you know that you can find all sorts of things around tombs? Forget rats—I've seen mountains of corpses. It's really not that scary." Frank chuckled, nodding. "I know." Sylvie nodded. "Sure. Then why would you call it fun?" Frank pointed into the darkness. "Because what's what I meant!" As if on cue, a monster emerged. It did not have a head, but it appeared to be sewn up parts of human limbs. There was a slit where its stomach should be, filled with beastly sharp teeth that were dripping with flesh. Maggots called on the puddles, and it was such a terrible sight that Sylvie almost threw up on the spot.

She stilled. Her heart hammered frantically in her chest. How was he alive?! She'd severed his head with a blade forged with the energy of sunlight! No vampire alive could survive that. The moment she tried to turn back she felt a grip on both her arms when he pulled her back into the curve of his cold rigid body, "Goodbye, bug." He purred. With that, she felt strong menacing jaws clamp down on her shoulders. She let out a high pitched screech when the bite burned into her body like hot lava.

Then that shell would break to let out a creature that was hideous and scary and weird. In the process of trying to drive him away, they somehow ended up gravitating towards each other. Finding comfort in the unexpected company, deep secrets tumbling out in the middle of the night. The guy who got stranded for sightseeing was suddenly showing her perspectives she had never seen before. The girl who barely talks was suddenly telling him the things he needed to hear all his life. But at the end of the day, you should never ever trust a stranger. Soon the creature would enclose itself completely for the second time, never to be seen like that again. It was a period of transformation.

Lucas told Arden and I as he injected himself. For over a minute, nothing happened. As Scott breathed a loud sigh of relief, Lucas spit out some blood. In a matter of seconds, he turned gray. His fingers nails elongated, his fangs nore define than usual. And, he was writhing about in his blood vomit.

I thought, slightly annoyed, then angry that it had annoyed me. “You, my bride, are the only one I can have an heir with. Only a bride can carry a vampire’s seed. Do you really not know this?" he asked, surprised, "What do they teach you in that order?" “Vampires are fiends and need to be hunted to extinction, they live to kill and ruin lives. That is all we need to know.” I shared finishing my drink and pouring another. “Talk about stereotyping. Do you really believe us to be mindless monsters?”

I stared at him in even more confusion and blinked my eyes rapidly trying to grasp what he just said when my head start to hurt, the pain started small and it advanced and before I knew it all I could see was black. I was awake again, only this time my head doesn't hurt that much anymore and I remember who I am but I'm not in the same place I was before I blacked out. What is this place? There's blood everywhere, the smell is driving me crazy, I have to leave before I kill someone. I tried to stand up but my legs felt like jelly.
