My roommate beamed with pride as she told me a horrifying secret: she had allowed a wealthy businessman to "remove" her unborn child, claiming he absorbed the baby’s fortune in exchange for a hefty payout. Chills ran down my spine. I urged her to stop meddling with such dark dealings before it destroyed her, but she wouldn’t listen. Instead, she threw herself into it, addicted to helping people "transfer luck" for money. Her luck ran out when she contracted a mysterious disease. When her boyfriend found out, she turned on me, tearfully accusing me of tying her to another man’s bed. Before I could even defend myself, an enraged man ran me down with his car. Her friend, Clara,in a bid to be of help to her dear friend at her darkest time,took her on dates. On one of these dates,she happened to meet a new man who treated her well. James, Liam’s best friend,investigated the main cause of the divorce of his friend and his dear wife and discovered a secret. What did James discover? Will the couple come back together? Will they be able to move on?

On campus, Emily was surrounded by several girls. Each of them slapped Emily's face and insulted her with dirty words. Emily wanted to stand up and fight back, but her arm was stomped heavily on the ground by one of them. There were many people around who walked indifferently, as if they were no longer shocked by this scene. The second girl kicked Emily's face, "Omega is the lowest level of trash, you should have died long ago..." Suddenly their phones rang, and one of them exclaimed, "The four Alphas are having a party! They actually came back home!..." They all picked up their phones to read the text messages, "I received an invitation to the party..." "I received it too!"... They kicked Emily a few more times and cursed a few times before leaving, leaving Emily alone. Emily got up from the ground tremblingly. She picked up her phone a few meters away. Emily found that there were more than a dozen missed calls from Luna. She suddenly panicked and called back nervously. Luna's voice pierced her eardrums, "Where did you die? The four Alphas and the guests are all at home now. Come back here quickly..." Emily was stunned for a moment after hearing the words of the four Alphas, I felt even more panicked.

Olivia and Carl establish a pattern of behavior at the dinner table, and one more powerful in bed since the same night they met. "Buzz… Buzz…" Alexia's cell phone vibrated as she sniffed then reached out for her phone which was in her side pocket and when she took it out she realized it was an unknown number. She furrowed her eyebrows. "Who in the world is this?" she soliloquized then swiped her thumb across the screen taking the phone to her left ear. "Hello… am I speaking with Alexia Chaney?" A deep male voice came through the phone as Alexia sat upright. "Yes, this Is Alexia Chaney," She clears her throat. "I heard you can play the guitar and I hope you will like a day's job, you will be paid handsomely for it. Are you interested?" said the man again over the phone as Alexia blinked. "Okay, I am interested. What is the occasion and venue?" She asked. "SBE wine corporation will be launching a new wine tomorrow alongside the birthday celebration of the CEO, Richard Robertson, and there will be a night party at his Estate," The man said as Alexia's eyes popped wide open and she parted her lips. She couldn't believe she just accepted an invitation to perform for a man who just wrecked her show. "I will text you the address, first thing in the morning. Get prepared because it is a big party and Richard loves something exceptional," said the man as he hung up.

Dad attends a banquet with his ex-girlfriend, and they make headlines. Everyone mocks Mom for this, saying that she hasn't gotten anything out of her relationship with Dad. They make fun of her for giving up her successful career for his sake to end up with nothing—she can't even tell a homewrecker off. Mom looks at me tiredly after bawling her eyes out. "He let me down first, so I don't want him anymore. Do you want to leave with me, Rosie?" Just then, my phone pings. I've received a text from my boyfriend of seven years. "I'm just going through the motions and registering my marriage with someone else, Rosalie. You'll still be my girlfriend!" After a brief silence, I nod and tell Mom I'll leave with her. On the day of the double weddings, Mom and I disappear after a fire at our villa.

Austin comes from a respected family, he has good grades, he is popular and attractive, and the hottest girl in college is his girlfriend. In a sense, he had it all. Until he got a mysterious text message one day. "Your girlfriend is cheating on you." He ignored it since and assumed it was a prank text message. But this number sent him more messages. One of yem was 'If you think I'm lying, you can come to the football team's party tonight." Even though he didn't believe the message, he went to the party. The house was full of people, and he struggled to find his girlfriend among them. He accidentally interrupted several couples kissing passionately. As he was feeling screwed, he pushed open a bedroom door and he found a guy and woman making out on the bed, and the woman was Angi his girlfriend. Austin angrily pulled the man off her and saw the guy's face he is the captain of the football team, the most popular guy in college. His nemesis. He d From that day on his life became a mess. What he didn't expect was that the mysterious person texting him became the only one that he could talk to. However, they never answered his calls and never told me who they were One day, unwilling to give up, he called this number again, and suddenly, a phone rang. The voice was very familiar. Austin was sure he knew that voice The person on the other end of the line said only one sentences"It is you that I have always wanted." What did he mean by that. Was Angi set up?

Nadine Sullivan doesn't come home to have dinner with me on my birthday. Instead, she transfers 100 dollars to me and sends me a text, saying, "I love you." Those things come with some heavy consequences, and I wasn't about to sign up for that without a second thought.   The problem was, if I didn't go along with his messed-up plan, he promised to make my friends' lives a living hell—the very people I'd started to care about. I was trapped between a rock and a hard place. If I decided to team up with Vivaldi, I'd be keeping him around, which is far from ideal. But if I refused, my friends and the whole town of Shadowvale would be in serious danger.    It felt like I was caught in this impossible situation, like I was trying to choose between two rotten apples.
