We have much to discuss.” “I didn't know that you had been released from the hospital,” the Duke said, taking the seat opposite of Freddie. “I'm glad to hear you are healing quickly.” Freddie took out a bottle and popped two white pills into his mouth. “They released me this morning,” Freddie explained once he'd swallowed the pills. “I must say, I was glad to come home. A week, three surgeries, and enough metal that I can pick up radio stations.”

But I nodded anyway, urging him to continue. "He is uh..." He paused then, swallowing hard; a clear sign that whatever he wanted to say next was pretty hard for him. "Well, he's sick. Actually, he's been sick for a long time now, but he's been managing it well. But now, things are out of control, and it's pretty serious."

" The doctor asked, not agreeing with what Greg said. He's been a surgeon for many years before he became a senior surgeon. He knows what he was saying. "Yes, I am.." Greg was going to reaffirm his claim when Freya said "No brother, Freddie has not been feeling well for some time now" she interrupted him as her tears gave way. He sighs. I nod without looking at him. " So you, what are you doing here?" Now it's his turn to ask. " Meditating. I'm just sick." I say half the truth. Right now I'm sick. Sick of all the drama and lies. It sucks. " You're sick? What happened to you?" Freddie asks. It's nice to know that he cares. Even if our friendship is already ruined and we can't go back to being close friends, he still cares for me.
