Carrying The Conde's Heir

Carrying The Conde's Heir

My baby…her baby, damn it! I pulled my eyebrows down in confusion when she pointed at the sand. “Our footprints in the sand. Two sets. Four prints. Just like the poem.” Now I am confused about what is she trying to say. “What does it say?” I asked and looked at our footprints. I couldn’t help to smile when I saw the tiny size of Cameron’s footprint next to my own.

The Art of Life and Love: The First Spark

The Art of Life and Love: The First Spark

He said, jubilant. "Well, we're all fed and watered at least, right?" Dillon said over his shoulder while he gestured him to follow him down the wooden steps to the sand. There were thick wooden pallets reinforced with metal plates and bolts that ran about halfway down the beach. Tony figured they were put there because of people's complaints about how far they had to walk. Dillon said that when it reached mid-day, the sand got incredibly hot. It also allowed them to move a lot quicker towards the water without the pull of the soft, shifty, molten ground. When Dillon and he reached the very last pallet, Tony took off his Nike flip-flops and stepped onto the sand. It felt awesome. A bit finer

Sky's head rose even higher, just like her tone. "Yes." Sky's amazement wafted quickly into the air. "Wow! I don't know how long a billion years is. But I guess, it's a very long time! Dinosaurs might have stepped on it. If that's the case, let's trample the ground around here, Papa. Our footprints should also be immortalized in this layer. " Sky started jumping around Edmund. "Come on, Papa. We can't lose to the dinosaurs. Even though people say the dinosaurs didn't get to see this canyon, their footprints might be buried in one of those layers."

Just like the other readers. I cried so much because of the father & daughter. It's saddening but also heartwarming. It's a great book. . I enjoyed Ed, Alice & Sky's adventure Now, looking forward to Sky, Louis & Emily's own adventure.

Finished this sweet and relaxing story. Ed really behaved like a dick so his motive doesn't hold up. Sometimes a bit too elaborate so I skipped a bit but Sky is no doubt a marvelous kid. I was curious about Alice's mindset which was not really explained but Sky made up a lot. Worth reading!

A Billionaire's Dirty Secrets (Secret Sins Club Book 1)

I wanted confirmation. Careful with my steps, I bent down and observed the sand. I couldn’t see any shoe or foot prints other than my own. But with the sand being loose, no one could really say if somebody was standing here last night. The wind could have blown strongly and flattened the sand. I looked around, not intending to leave until I had scoured every surface my eyes could see. Then my eyes caught something on the ground. Lodged between two weeds was a familiar object.

I Found My Mafia Mom, A Cop Husband

I Found My Mafia Mom, A Cop Husband

Her laughter drifted on the wind as she spun in circles, arms outstretched like wings. “Wait for me!” she shouted behind her. Ava and Alex followed, hand in hand, boots crunching against shells and pebbles. Pearl chased waves, squealing as the cold surf bit at her ankles. She built a crooked sandcastle with her bare hands, planting a broken piece of driftwood at the top like a flag. Ava helped shape a moat while Alex carved windows with a stick. For a moment, it was just a family on a beach, no aliases, no syndicates, no ghosts.

The idea instantly delights me, and we walk hand in hand toward the shore. The beach is a tranquil haven, the gentle waves lapping at the shore as if beckoning us to come closer. The sand feels warm beneath my feet as we stroll along the water's edge. The soft, golden glow of the setting sun casts a magical ambiance over everything around us. The orangish soil of Orange County overwhelms me with its beauty, and I find myself in awe of the natural wonder surrounding us. I kick off my shoes and walk barefoot, feeling the sand between my toes. The sensation is invigorating, and I giggle like a carefree child, my laughter blending with the soothing sound of the ocean.

Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.
Anie Angel
The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

Beneath His Rules

Beneath His Rules

“Take as long as you need. I’m not going anywhere.” I nodded and started walking. My sneakers kept sinking into the sand, making it hard to move fast, so I just took them off. The sand was cold and a little bit damp. I walked all the way down to where the water was hitting the shore. The waves were loud, making a crashing sound that filled up my ears and made it so I couldn't hear anything else. I sat down on a big piece of wood that had washed up on the shore. I opened the box and took out the letter. My eyes stung as I looked at the pages. I had used a lot of ink, writing down every single thing I felt.

His Mate, His Son, His Regret

His Mate, His Son, His Regret

I paused to see and the smell of it was even stronger. I find a shape down in the mud, a print, almost like a dog’s, but stretched and split, the toes too long. There are two, side by side, one bigger, one small. I kneel down to touch it, fingertips cold, but the print is fresher than the ground around it. I can almost feel the thing breathing, as if the paw itself is a mouth.

My classmates asked. “The first place should be use a trick, right? Use sand painting. The sand painting has the effect of lighting, and it’s motion graph. We only have a few pieces of paper and no light effect. If Ailina doesn’t participate in the Design Competition today, I am afraid she won’t be able to draw any design at all, right?”

it would be more exciting if POV only concerns ML n FL. it's a mess for me when all characters got their own POV. it's kinda mixed up n after a few paragraphs, another POV from other character n it goes on n on.
monika malhotra
One good thing about this story is that the FL not only has a doting boyfriend but also a doting mother-in-law. Loved reading this very positive love story of a badass FL. one complaint would be this book needs a lot of corrections. It is a bit messy.

He nodded, understanding shimmering like waves within his eyes. “Sounds perfect.” I sighed, silently thanking the Goddess for Holden’s generosity, and for the fact that he wasn’t a raging creep. Sand squished beneath my feet, heavy with the scent of fresh water and foliage. It was damp from the gentle waves sloshing against the shore, waves created by the chaotic partygoers just fifty feet away.

I had trouble putting this down. Probably my favourite so far. Love the way the characters evolve and the interchange between them. Definitely not lacking in lots of plot twists and turns. Just when you thought it was safe… well done, Jane. Can’t wait to read your next books!!
Author K.C Rae
Absolutely beautiful writing, it’s been about a year since I’ve read Jane Doe’s work and I simply cannot believe how much she’s improved (not that she was bad/mediocre before). The story itself kept you captivated with lots of twists and turns, the characters were likable and spice was 4/5 stars
