I stood there, frozen, unable to move, unable to look away. The bushes rustled again, and I saw it—a big, shadowy figure, its eyes gleaming in the dark. It was unlike anything I had ever seen, its form vague and indistinct, but its presence unmistakable. He would always stopped at the climax, sighed dramatically, and say that it’s too scary. She would grab his hand and say she wasn’t scared, that she would be brave. She would ask, so excited, “What happened next?”

The moon shines fully, illuminating the darkness outside and providing a glint of light to Svetlana’s eyes as she stared up at it while she sat on a bench with Ahrio next to her. “There’s a legend in Southeast Asian countries that whenever it’s the full moon, ghosts, monsters and other scary supernatural beings appear and roam the world of the living.
