Roberta POV On the first day of my freedom, I decided to go out. The sunlight outside was blinding, and I had a hard time opening my eyes. The long absence of freedom made me feel strange, but I knew that every minute was precious. Despite my still weak body, I decided to try to raise funds for my wolf pack as soon as possible. The handcuffs had been removed, but the sense of restraint in my heart was still heavy.

We thanked the misfortunes of our pasts for the blessings we reaped in the present. As for Simon, I reckoned he would be stuck in an asylum for long-term treatment. After all, the world didn't revolve around anyone. But we could always be the main characters in our own stories.

I would rise above this, above the pain and the fear and the uncertainty. I would rise above, and I would emerge stronger, braver, and more determined than ever. I would take back control of my life, and I would forge a new path, a path of freedom and self-discovery. My journey was just beginning, and I was ready. I was ready to take on whatever lay ahead, to face whatever challenges came my way. I was ready to fight for my freedom, to fight for my life. And with that thought, I took my first step towards freedom. I took a deep breath, and I began to move forward, one step at a time.

The ability to fly, to go where you wanted, to be who you wanted to be. As she walked, she heard the laughter of children playing, a sound that filled her heart with warmth. Freedom was the smile on a child’s face, the warm embrace of a loved one. It was the ability to speak your mind, to have a voice, to be heard. And it was the courage to be kind, to stand up for what was right. Freedom was the light in the dark, the spark that started a brand new start. It was the fire that burned in her soul, the spirit that kept her going.

Happiness is indeed free. Never in my 24 years have I felt this much freedom, and to be honest when i first dreamed about moving here, I imagined I would be living my life from club to club, going to the bar every now and then and having multiple boyfriends. That was the childish mentality I had about living in a new city, I thought I would completely break free from the leash my parents had on my but somewhere between college and my first job I realised that the so-called leash my parent had on me was for a good cause and was there to guide me.
