And when was the last date you went on?” Tiffany demanded. “Are we not counting the month I dated Veronica in grade thirteenth?” Mason asked through his door. “NO!” Tiffany and Ashton said in unison. I raised an eyebrow, curious now. "Veronica?" I questioned. "Horrible girl. If not for the concern of being exposed as a meta-human and probably arrested, I'd have bitten the trollop and watched her die from my venom." Tiffany grumbled.

I answered, looking at her. Tiffany was an oblivious rich brat who liked making bets because she was insecure. She used daddy’s money to make her feel good about herself and she played dirty if it meant getting her way. We had broken up six months ago, but she had crawled back into my life a month ago because she knew I wanted to get in the race for the city’s annual race completion.
