"Is it okay if I ask for a hug since you're not big on being touched?" Laughing, I opened my arms and he wrapped his arms around my waist bringing me closer and I wrapped mine around his neck, he was warm despite the fact that he gave me his hoodie. It felt great being in his arms and I didn't want to let go just yet. Feeling as if the hug was becoming a little more intimate than I had expected it to be, I slowly untangled myself from him and I felt him hesitantly remove his arms from my waist. "Well, goodnight," I smiled and he smiled back.

How are you gonna take care of yourself? ‘’Don’t worry, I’ve got the duvet to do that’’ ‘’Duvet? You’re sleeping on the bed? ‘’Isn’t that what you want? ‘’Uhmm…sure. I won’t bug you, I promise’’ ‘’Don’t promise. Just sleep, please. Goodnight’’ ‘’Sweet dreams, my darling Gavin’’ Don’t do that. It’s so cheesy’’ ‘’Sorry. Do you need a night hug?

“Cheap date, she giggled. “I am in accord for the night. However you booked us a self-catering room. We have brought nothing along.” Peter noticed the goose bumps appearing on her skin. He rubbed warmth into her arm. They stayed silent but together for a long time just looking at the stars enjoying the night. “We should go to bed.”

I managed to utter when the hug lingered. "Oh! Sorry!" She replied pulling away. "I just really missed you!" She squealed again trying to pull me into an another hug. "No you don't!" I shot out moving away from her. She grinned toothily with a roll of her eyes and made way for Ariadne, my more normal friend to hug me. The hug was warm and not a death trap. "I've missed you Cleo." She said once we pulled away. "And I, you." I replied smiling. "Now that's how NORMAL people hug." I said to Kyla who was standing close.

And you don't go around telling your griefs to a stranger. "Uh, well, isn't your concert more important?" I asked, still not looking at him. I felt him move. He was really leaving. "I heard, when you're sad...you just need a hug." He said. "And you're sad." I would've stopped him but he was already reaching out to me. He pulled me in a hug. "I cannot believe you just said those words." I whispered. Maybe he smiled but I couldn't see. I felt his arm around me. The reality of actually making a friend felt really good. It just made me more teary.

I set my phone under my pillow, snuggling closer to his body with my leg crossing over his own legs, “Good night, Alpha.” “Good night, biscuits.”

I took a deep breath, letting the smell of the smoke fill my nostrils, my eyes lighting up as I did. "same, that smells amazing", I agreed. Enzo laughed. "Hey, Jake," he called to the man who had made his way over to us. "hey Enzo, what up?" they shook hands, doing that weird handshake hug thing that guys do, and I can never work out why they do it. "These three lovely ladies would like some of your stuff," Enzo said, gesturing at us. We stood there, taking in the smell of the man's smoke, probably standing a little closer than we needed to be, but the smell was infectious.

I agreed gently, reassuring him. I climbed into bed, slipping under the covers, and slowly moved closer to Neil, lying beside him. I hugged him tightly, like holding onto a plush toy, using this gesture to convey gratitude, comfort, and apology without words. He didn't resist, allowing the man beside him to embrace him gently. Together, we drifted off to sleep.

If not, there was no way I’d be getting any sleep tonight cause I’d have spent the entire night overthinking. Justin walked me all the way to my best friends’ doorstep, and then he enveloped me in a long hug filled with his familiar scent, which ruffled up my senses and made me feel really loved up once again. He brushed a kiss over my head and squeezed my hands as he bid me Goodnight. I held on his fingers longer than I should, because I suddenly didn’t want to be apart from him tonight, or ever.

I finally give in to my excitement and launch myself at him in a hug. “I know, Thankyou Harry! Now we can make the lanterns today. We might even have them ready in time for tonight!” Harry hugs me tightly and I relax against him. I’ve discovered in the last few days that Harry really does give amazing hugs. It’s like he commits completely to every hug and he never ever lets go first.
