Judy drawled, “When am I officially meeting her?”
“Meeting who?” I groaned.
She rolled her eyes. “Your new girlfriend, silly.” she laughed.
“First off,” I began, “She is not my girlfriend—”
“So, a female friend then,” Judy continued, the hope in her voice rising.
I sank deeper into my chair, our earlier argument flashing through my mind. “No, not even a female friend.”
She can't be a friend. Not after everything that has happened between us.
Friends don't grope each other and grind on each other late in the night.
